I thought they were playing in Chicago. If they are in NY, the games today and tomorrow will be cancelled. I am looking out the window now and there are torrential downpours. A tree fell on a car outside my office about an hour ago. It is bad put there but maybe not as bad as how it was in Indy.

It is has stopped raining here in TigerTown but it is 48 and extremely windy

Just wanted to let everyone know I still feel healthy, just working a lot. Hozer and I miss doing play by play of Cubs games on here and commenting on the games. Everything will be back to normal soon

I just got an anonymous call on my phone which I usually don't answer when I don't see a number I recognize. I answered it and the person said SOX and hung up.  I have no clue who it was

As most of you know, I'm a Cardinals fan.  But you don't know that at one time I was a Cubs fan.  This was in the early 1980's while I was in college and got cable TV.  Our TV provider had WGN and sin

I am not watching, what happened to Fowler?

Also injured on Thursday was outfielder Dexter Fowler, who hurt his right shoulder in a diving catch attempt and was scheduled to be re-evaluated by team doctors on Friday morning. Fowler hit a two-out, two-run triple in the second inning but was hurt while diving for a fly ball off the bat of Hernan Perez to the left-center-field gap in the third inning. He stayed in the game initially but was replaced before the fourth.

Still raining here and 50 degrees and windy.

It has been windy in NY but it was not raining until this afternoon.

(It was raining this morning but not heavily as it is now. I got 3 flash flood warning alerts earlier.)

I love rainy days for the most part unless I have to be out in it. Nice relaxing weather.

So help me out here, if a game gets suspended before 5 Innings are complete the 2 teams start from scratch when they make it up. I know that but it's different in the Playoffs, correct? In otherwords if a team goes up 5-0 in the 1st Inning in the Playoffs but it gets rained out in the 3rd until the next day, the game would still continue in the 3rd with the team leading 5-0 the next day, right? Last night the Mets had a 3-1 lead but it got rained out in the 4th. Now when the 2 teams make that game up, it starts from scratch at 0-0.

Thanks diregard my previous post then

They had Diaz in LF and Martinez plays right,  Pham is healthy and hot they will be ok. Just wish they would move Wainwright to the pen , and call up one of the young guns to replace him.

They need to do something before they get to far out of the NL Central and/or Wild Card Race
