It appears it was mechanical issue and also the cold. He has had it in the past, so hopefully will get it fixed up before next week

Today is an off day as I did post a week ago, I meant Jake is pitching tomorrow. I said today here for some reason.

Hello everyone!!! BASEBALL IS BACK!!!!!!

@NFLfan, @2006Coltsbestever sorry for not being on more often, life’s thrown a couple curveballs at me lately and I’ve been staying pretty busy. That and at the end of last season(football) some stuff/people on this site kind of rubbed me the wrong way so I had to take a break for a bit. 
 

Rough outing for my Cubbies, bats were cold and Hendricks struggled. It’s all good, lots of baseball to play yet, although I am worried about our pitching even more then before. Hey the Cubs win the preseason, that counts for something, no, lol. I am digging the Joc Pederson acquisition, he’s a great player. Love having Arietta back too, can’t wait to watch him pitch again! Either way, I’m backing my crew,

I get that feeling, this site use to be a lot better, but some of the better have left and were replaced by "others". I use to take a break from the main threads except this one

Many seem to have left since Luck retired. I heard there was a huge exodus when Manning left too. I miss many of those that used to be here.

 

No baseball for the Mets this weekend :(

Read the above posts. I have been a member since June of 2015 which is quite a while and I have seen several good to great posters leave and not return. What probably drove those people away was the negativity towards the Colts. Some people go over board with it and bash the team way too much. It is ok to be critical of the Colts if they are bad or have a bad game but many tend to go overboard. The negativity that Brissett received while he was here was uncalled for. He wasn't a franchise QB but a great backup and had some good moments here as a player. Instead of just saying the guy wasn't a franchise QB, some had to pile on him saying he sucked and created threads doing so. Rivers also received plenty of bashing in here and he had a good season last year. Stuff gets old after a while. 

 

There were also some posters that left probably because Luck retired, they were Luck fans not Colts fans the way I see it. I love the Colts regardless. I'll have my days where I still post a lot but here lately I will even go a day or 2 without posting. I wonder what happened to 'old uncle Mark'?

Welcome back my friend. Yeah we have a whole long year of baseball on our plate, hopefully life hasn't been to harsh on you and you are doing well. Jake is back and pitching tomorrow :thmup:

I have been a member here since June of 2015, going on 6 years but actually knew about this site way before then. I just never created an account because I was with ESPN. I was a member over at ESPN from 2009-2013, then they jacked everything where you couldn't post on most topics, only on the game threads and you needed Facebook to do so, I don't do Facebook. Now they have it where you can't post at all. ESPN over the last 5 years has went way downhill. The only show I consistently watched was Mike and Mike because I worked a lot of 3rd's and it came on at 6am when I was getting home. It was a great talk show too. ESPN has become way to political for me now days so I watch less and less of it. If a big game is about to happen like in the NFL playoffs, NBA Finals, or MLB playoffs I will occasionally watch 1st take just mainly for entertainment purposes because Stephen A. can be funny at times. I liked it better when Skip was on there because Skip would say some of silliest stuff and have you wondering what the hell he is thinking. I couldn't stand him (he was a Luck hater too) but he was entertaining.

Yeah at first I thought Bryant just missed it but it carried out. Willie Mays Hayes haha . Major League was actually on earlier.

Yeah that movie had a little of everything. Tom Berenger is a great actor as well. the 1st one is a classic, 2nd one is good eventhough Snipes didn't play Hayes.

True and in his defense he was in jail at the time though could 

 

 

And that was an interesting play with Joc avoiding the tag and Heyward being safe
