You'd be correct, I think first Pro game I went to was in 2005 season I believe at like 7 years old. I then moved in 2007 and went to a lot of Peoria Chiefs games who were the Cubs Affiliate with my first MLB game being Cubs/Pirates at Wrigley in 2013

Yep, the first season I started watching MLB was 2007 then more in 2008, and catching games for the next few years until like 2012/13 when I started watching as often as I could. I started posting in the forum probably my Jr. year of HS which is 14/15 then attended CC in 2016/17, then a 4-year from 17-20 in which I got both my Bachelors and this last May my Masters.

Yep, I was born in IN, moved to IL at 9 (2007), then went to College in Missouri from 17-20. Now I will be moving to STL on Oct. 16 to start my Audit Career. I will always be a Cubs fan, unless something substantial happens that changes the view (not losing, but something morally wrong) I will end up going to as many Cubs/Cards game in STL as I can.

Thank you

Congratulations. :fireworks: That was fast! It seemed like it was yesterday you told me that you were a senior in high school. Now you already have your Masters. :hat: I waited more than 10 years to pursue my Masters.

All the best in your new job and career.

They were hitting just about anything he threw up there.

They were due to score some runs, the flood gates opened...

It happens!

Yep it was just one of those games. Kimbrel didn’t fair well either once again.....and he needs his beard back, just not the same, lol. There’s days I wish we had held on to Jorge Soler, he is one heck of a hitter.

The Reds lost 13-0 against Cleveland last night. We were getting beat so bad the cardboard cutouts behind home plate were booing...

Did anyone catch what they did on the Cubs-Royals telecast?  There were times when they had a full crowd in the ballpark super-imposed to make it look like it was full.  Usually it was on a shot coming back from a commercial.  Of course, they have the cutouts in the seats near home plate and the dugouts...including Mahomes, the mascot and I also saw Steve "Bye-Bye" Balboni sitting behind home plate.

I know, when the Cubs were at Wrigley it sounded like fans in the stands too. The PA announcer is the same too.

Thanks! I am happy to have finished up, I kinda had to get my Masters so that I would have enough credit hours to take my license exam for Accounting (CPA) otherwise I wouldnt have bothered.

It is crazy to think that this group has been going on for so many years now, I know I did go absent for a a few months a couple years ago though

Cubs are about to begin a 4 game series with the BrewCrew at Wrigley starting tomorrow. Should be interesting, I have to say the 12-3 start was unexpected but I think the players just got tired of Maddon. They love David Ross as manager. I will always be grateful to Maddon though because he got the Cubs a WS as manager.

He always seems to get ejected on crap ejections. He also has gotten ejected cuz his masked plopped up and hit ump when he wasnt aiming at him

I don't know but he may have a problem with the language he uses when frustrated...

Seems the umps sure got a short fuse on the guy. There must be a reason.

    • Richardson  accuracy  on deep balls is his strength.  Hence why you pair an elite deep threat in worthy.
    • No.   You weren’t.   If you were the least bit sincere, we’d be having these conversations in private.  But you’ve repeatedly ignored my efforts to do that.  Your call.      Then you avoid me until I’m in an uncomfortable conversation with another poster.   You use that awkward moment as an excuse for you to come in with some sincere friendly advice.   The problem is, you’re neither sincere, nor friendly.  And you’ve been doing this for months now.  This is not new.   The pattern is clear and obvious.     And the shame of it all is that even with our different views on Ballard we have enough in common that we should be friendly.  Maybe not friends, but friendly.  You wouldn’t need to address me as “Sir.”    “Good deed going unpunished”.  You flatter yourself.     But your actions speak much louder than your words.   There’s no reason for me to trust you.  And here we are.  A real shame.
    • In a year when the Colts were in serious need of a QB and in position to draft one, Ballard came up in front of the media 3 days before the draft and straight up said something to the effect of "That guy everybody in media is talking about(Levis), we are not taking him". I don't know why you think the Colts are trying to throw us off the scent this year specifically. They are not trying to give us away the pick(thus the vagueness), but I also don't really think they are trying to mislead anybody. This usually becomes specifically apparent in retrospect after the draft when you look back at a lot of those quotes in the videos they release pre-draft... and they were talking precisely about players we ended up drafting, which they reveal in the post-draft video by extending some of those quotes(they did that with AR last year for example).    And about why people are doing it(guessing who they are talking about) - because it is fun. Nobody has the illusion that we will be right in our guesses 100% of the time... or anywhere close really... but it's still fun. And it's part of why the Colts release those videos with those quotes - to create engagement with the fanbase... part of which, and the entirety of which that 70 pages thread and whole board is about in the offseason. is to guess who the Colts might take and how they might feel about specific prospects.
    • Sir, I was just trying to help you out. No good deed goes unpunished!
