Just wanted to let everyone know I still feel healthy, just working a lot. Hozer and I miss doing play by play of Cubs games on here and commenting on the games. Everything will be back to normal soon

I just got an anonymous call on my phone which I usually don't answer when I don't see a number I recognize. I answered it and the person said SOX and hung up.  I have no clue who it was

As most of you know, I'm a Cardinals fan.  But you don't know that at one time I was a Cubs fan.  This was in the early 1980's while I was in college and got cable TV.  Our TV provider had WGN and sin

Yeah it was a big win, we should beat this team 3 out of 4 and we are on our way now. Brewers won today so they are only a half game back but have 3 more losses than us. Cards are now 1.5 behind us.

Standings look like this:

Cubs 21-13

Brewers 23-16 (.5 back)

Cards 21-16 (1.5 back)

Still don’t know how we beat the mighty Cardinals then struggle against this team? Are the Marlins not as bad as their record shows? Hendricks with another great game though, that’s a positive! Let’s see if we can finish this out.:bored:

They are managed bY a Tri-Stater

Yeah I fell to the ground in tears and still thought it wasn't real. This and when the Colts won SB 41 are my top 2, that is like 1a and 1b to me. Cubs are looking good now again and so are the Colts

Cubs win, win 3 out of 4 over the Fish. Cubs have now won 10 of 11 overall. Improve to 22-13 on the season. Big 3 game series starts tomorrow vs the BrewCrew. BrewCrew have the day off today and are 23-16 a game behind the Cubs in the NL Central. The Cards are 21-16 and are just 2 games back in a tight division race early on. Fly the flag Hozer.

Yeah he is smooth. With MVP healthy and back along with Rizzo, and El Mago, that is a great 3 to try and get out. We look real solid right now. Our Pitching was terrible early on but that has came around now as well. Yu pitched well today.

Oh bro I don’t know about that, he struggled with his control again, came out early and had to have Montgomery help him out. (Took this from twitter>)Darvish now has a 19.3 percent walk rate on the season. The next highest in baseball for an eligible starter is Aaron Sanchez's 13.7%.

Yeah I wish he could've went at least 5 innings to get the win. I agree that he still has control issues but he only gave up 1 run in 4 innings on the bright side.

Yeah interesting NL Central so far. We are through 10 days of May and it is bunched up like we all thought.

Cubs 22-14

Brewers 24-16 (tied for 1st but % points behind Cubs)

Cards 22-17 (1.5 back)

Pirates 18-17 (3.5 back)

Reds 17-22 (6.5 back)

4 teams are over .500 in the NL Central so far and the Reds are only 5 games below .500.

    • Lunch apparently    Dang, ok thanks for the update.
    • As far as a QB goes I would love to trade for Watson, yes I would give up 3 first round picks in 2021, 2022, 2023 to get Watson but this will never happen. So my next 2 options which are reasonable are this:   Trade this years first round pick (2021) and next years second round pick (2022) for Matt Stafford. Stafford would ball out here with the line we have. I think the Lions would do that deal. The other option is re-sign Rivers for 20 Mill a year, which is a slight pay cut (not 25 Mill) but 20 Mill is 20 Mill which is still fantastic for a 39 year old QB.   If we traded away this years first round pick for any reason that would still leave us picks 2-7. In round 2, I am taking a LT - that is a no brainer, I want to keep Q at OG. I would go Pass Rusher in round 3 and re-sign Justin Houston to a 1 year deal to be safe.

    • But here's the thing to me.  If we do have a poor season, we will be in a better draft position next year. I feel we are closer than some think.  We went toe to toe with everyone.  KC is the elephant in the room, but every team has that challenge, trying to compete with KC.   There was not one team we played that we weren't competitive with.  We should be playing KC this week.   I hope they run it again.
    • So these are the teams that Draft ahead of us.. and i was wondering which teams do you think will take a QB in round one? now down below i have a list of possible teams that could take a QB    1, Jacksonville - QB     2. NY Jets -     3.  Miami -   4. Atlanta - QB   5. Cincinnati -   6. Philadelphia -   7. Detroit - QB   8. Carolina - QB   9. Denver - QB   10. Dallas -   11. NY Giants -   12. San Francisco - QB   13. LA Chargers -   14. Minnesota -   15. New England - QB   16. Arizona -   17. Las Vegas -   18. Miami -   19. Washington - QB   20. Chicago - QB   21. Indianapolis -
