At NFLfan, still a long way to go in the season. I wouldn't get too down. Nats are a beastly team.

I don't get too.down. I am a bit concerned about all the injuries though.

Just wanted to let everyone know I still feel healthy, just working a lot. Hozer and I miss doing play by play of Cubs games on here and commenting on the games. Everything will be back to normal soon

I just got an anonymous call on my phone which I usually don't answer when I don't see a number I recognize. I answered it and the person said SOX and hung up.  I have no clue who it was

As most of you know, I'm a Cardinals fan.  But you don't know that at one time I was a Cubs fan.  This was in the early 1980's while I was in college and got cable TV.  Our TV provider had WGN and sin

Nice win by the Cubs today. Now at 13-10 with a full game lead in the NL Central over the Cards who are 12-11. Winning in Boston is always tough! Cards game got postponed today. As April is winding down what is everyone's thoughts on how their favorite team looks so far? I am fine with the Cubs at 13-10 and they lead their Division too.

Cards blew one today like minds were elsewhere.

There should be a mercy rule in baseball. The Nats made sure they did not get swept today. They lead the Mets 19-5. Our backup catcher just finished pitching the 7th (almost giving up another HR).

Tomorrow is May 1st and the Mets will be 4 games under .500.  I could see Mets fans calling to fire the manager. I hope the Mets don't cave in to the pressure.  I like our manager. Injuries are not an excuse but that is a reality and does affect on-the-field performance.  Give him til the end of the year.

:(

I just stay away from predictions

Predictions are a tough business.  I'm still celebrating last year for the Cubs.  And, I always love them; win or lose.  Same with the Reds.  Even though they're back to being a field of poopy diapers....

Yeah the Cubs didn't play well at all either yesterday. Lost 6-2, still 13-11 and in 1st but the team has been up and down so far. Nice to see Bryant homer with his dad in attendance though.

Yeah I seen where they went ahead and let the game be played. It was raining hard while the Phillies were up in the 1st and they put up 4 on us, now it's 7-0. We are getting pounded so far.

Got a little tears eyed today when I was visiting(studying) family grave sites

On the grave next to my Grandparents a Princeton Tiger hat and just down from them was a grave with a Chicago Cub World Series plaque and flag

Aaron Judge has been going off!  I hope it isn't like Kevin Maas back in the early 90's...j/k.  Go Yanks!

He looks like a better player than Kevin Maas.

Welcome!

The Mets seem to score only via the HR. Tonight they have scored 16 runs on 20 hits -- but no home runs. That's how I like it.

16-5 Mets over the Braves in the 8th.

The Mets got some bad news with Syndergaard and to a lesser extent Cespedes

The only problem with the Cubs game tonight is that Eickhoff was pitching for Philadelphia

For those who don't know, Eickhoff is from Evansville, Indiana.

So far you never know what you are going to see from night to night with any of these teams. So much parity too. Cubs are up 5-4 and are up in the Bottom of the 8th.

:(  I believe we have about 8 players on the DL, 3 being starting pitchers who will miss a couple of months.
