Just wanted to let everyone know I still feel healthy, just working a lot. Hozer and I miss doing play by play of Cubs games on here and commenting on the games. Everything will be back to normal soon

I just got an anonymous call on my phone which I usually don't answer when I don't see a number I recognize. I answered it and the person said SOX and hung up.  I have no clue who it was

As most of you know, I'm a Cardinals fan.  But you don't know that at one time I was a Cubs fan.  This was in the early 1980's while I was in college and got cable TV.  Our TV provider had WGN and sin

Welcome back Jay!!! I knew you’d be back!!!! This place wasn’t the same without you, but absolutely understand you have more important things to handle.

Cubs start a 4 game series against those Bums the Mets:funny:...........lol just messing with you again NFLfan, should be a good series, hopefully! Chatwood ()gets the start on the mound tonight in place of Hendricks who is on the IL, and our up and coming prospect Adbert Alzolay was called up to back him up, so hoping for a good one tonight!

I know right, hoping that if he collapses, again, it’ll be early and the damage is kept to a minimum for Alzolay. Really hoping he’s the real deal! The strategy against Chatwood is easy, just stand there, he’s a walk machine.

Everytime he or Darvish pitches I expect the worse lmao

Cubs are playing the Mets. You should have no worries. Lol.

You’d be surprised, my couch is a better pitcher then Chatwood.

3-0 Mets in the third.

Hello guys...Chatwood was not as bad as you expected.

I love the Mets announcers...as I am writing Baez hits a HR. Lol. Anyway, the announcers are pulling for Baez to win a Gold Glove. They said he should win the Platinum Glove as the best overall defender.

Absolutely. Is it Theo that does not want him to play? Is it not Maddon's decision?

Mets win 5-4, I called it today. Series tied at 1-1. Tomorrow Q vs Wheeler, Sunday Hamels vs deGrom. Both afternoon games. Cubs are still in 1st place in the NL Central but tend to lose games they shouldn't. Yu still winless at Wrigley lmao

The Mets won a game vs the Cubs??

    • Because he hasn’t made any serious investments in QB yet. Brissett was the best option in 2019 given the fact that Luck’s retirement was short notice. He hasn’t spent serious money or draft capital on a QB...YET!!! He still can but given the fact that the top 4 QBs will likely go in the top 15 and he isn’t one to trade the house and go get a QB, it’s not crazy to say he isn’t interested in really fixing the QB situation. Rivers is a band-aid. Eason is a shot In the dark. Those aren’t solutions. Maybe he’ll prove me wrong in the 2021 draft/off-season though.
    • Peyton was a coach on the field of the offense no doubt. I was basically comparing Reid and Dungy's personalities, they seem so similar to me. Players love him like our players loved Dungy. Reid is definitely a genius calling plays.
    • Reid is an offensive genius though. Not saying we didn't have decent coaching on O, but it was really Peyton running the show.   Manning was just unfortunate that he shared time with the duo of Bill and Tom.
    • Winning multiple SB's is tough. Every fan base thinks they can do it, once they win one. I thought with Peyton we would win 2 or 3, should've but it is tough. KC may win 2 or 3 with Mahomes but not sure. They are the favorites to win it again and it will be interesting to see if they can repeat. Colts had one of the best 9 years in the history of football from 2002-2010 going 109-35 but only got the one SB win/2 SB appearances. KC kind of reminds me of those teams, their D gets after the QB and they have the best QB in the league + a coach who is a players coach and nice like Dungy was.
