Booo. Wanted the Dodgers. But oh well, it's not over yet. Back to L.A. for do or die.

Both great teams worth the time to watch. And I am okay with either team winning it all now.

I will be honest, I didn't have a opinion. Other than the Cubs or the Reds I hadn't really watched much of either of these two teams. I know what their records were but didn't realize how good these two team were.

This has been a great series no doubt.

I have to go back and look but I think initially I had LA in 6 before the series. After Game 1, I thought they would waltz through. Man was I wrong.

Congrats to the Astros. They weren't who I wanted but they did deserve it in the end.

Tonights game looked kinda bad for the Dodgers early on so I didn't follow it much.

Yu Darvish is garbage.

Yep, that’s the biggest thing that hurt the Dodgers, 2 key games that they got behind because of Astros hitters getting on vs Darvish, and this time made sure their pitchers kept on it.

Congrats to Astros, they never quit, much like the Cubs last year!!! Game 5 was the best ever, Astros were so resilient.

Pretty shocked the Dodgers lost, congrats to the Astros! Nothing is a given and this is why I was relieved the Cubs won last season. Great to experience as a fan winning the WS.

Pretenders win again.

Inside joke. I'm glad they won.

It was a great series to watch. Especially, game 5, of course.

Told y'all Astros would win (although I said in 6, so we're all wrong I guess haha)

Congrats Houston. Great series. Now maybe a certain NL East team can win the thing next year..........(probably not lol).

Also, kinda feel bad for Darvish, I always liked him. He's definitely not sleeping easy for a while.

Congratulations to the Astros! It is great for the people of Houston to celebrate a championship after all they went through during and after Hurricane Harvey. They should enjoy this.

Congrats @Qwiz. You guys deserve it. :applause:

They still weren't better than last seasons Cubs, Cubs won the WS at 103-58, Astros were only 101-61 :sarcasm::violin:. I am just messing around, in all seriousness congrats to Houston and their fans. I cant believe how bad Darvish was in both of his starts. Man did that move backfire acquiring him!

    • Yes, we released the TE we brought up from the PS a couple weeks ago. Guy never saw a snap
    • A ton of rookies are getting a ton of playing time in 2019 and most of them have impressed the heck out of me. Ya-Sin, Khari, Okereke, Banogu, have all shown me something. Parris Campbell had a rough season with all the injuries, but I'm confident whenever he manages to stay on the field, he will make plays and prove to be another solid pick by CB.
    • Since Vinny's knee is basically shot for the 2019 season this is a great chance for Chris Ballard to get a good look at McLaughling as possibly the Colts starting kicker beyond 2019. Either way, the Colts will move on from Vinatieri no matter what he decides to go beyond 2019. Place him on IR and see what you have from McLaughing. Worst case scenario you sign or draft another Kicker to be your guy.
    • I don’t care if this team had Tyreek Hill and Deandre Hopkins, Brissett would still stand in the pocket for five seconds and then dump it off to Doyle in the flat. The guy is not the answer, and a bunch of cherry picked stats about his ‘efficiency’ is not going to change that.
    • He was signed off the street by the Niners. But he was a "non-vested" player, which means he doesn't have enough years of service to reach unrestricted free agency. So whatever team he's on would have his exclusive rights for 2020 and 2021, whether he was claimed on waivers or signed as a free agent. Then he can be a restricted free agent in 2022.   His contract technically expires at the end of the 2019 league year, but the Colts can tender him and effectively extend his rookie contract, one year at a time, until 2023. (And at that point, they could franchise tag him, assuming that provision still exists in the new CBA.)   As a UDFA, the CBA allows him to be signed to a veteran extension after two years of service; for drafted players, it's three years. Until then, his contract is based on the rookie wage scale, which was determined by the CBA.   A recent case study for this is Kenny Moore. He signed with the Patriots as a UDFA in 2017, then was waived at cut down, and the Colts claimed him. After 2018, he had two years of service, so he was eligible to sign a veteran extension, which is what he did in the 2019 offseason. If he had not agreed to an extension, the Colts could have tendered him as an ERFA for 2019, and then as an RFA for 2020.
