I'd give him the same as AP, 3 yrs $42 mil. but with $24 mil. guaranteed which would be $4 mil. more guaranteed than AP. It has to be a short term contract, nothing more than 3 years.

I think Bell is fantastic......

 

But it's way, WAY too rich for my blood.

 

We need to save some of that money for defense!

Didn't Deangelo Williams put up good numbers too in the Steeler's offense when Bell has been injured or suspended?  

 

Bell is good, no doubt but he might do well thanks to the offense he's in.  

 

I don't think he'll get anything close to that number.  AP's number is an outlier anyways.  He's been the highest paid RB for ages and talented RB's have had their contracts come up and not gotten anything close to that.

 

The 2nd highest paid RB according to overthecap.com is Lesean McCoy who is getting 8M per year.  

 

He might be able to best that a little, but not a lot.  9M per year tops.  And I'm not sure the Steelers would give him that.  He'd have to find another team to do that.

 

Teams are gonna look at AP's contract like an outlier and not consider it.
