Luck's Longevity

Recommended Posts

The Colts are asking too much of Andrew Luck. He needs to play at a level near perfection for them to have a chance at a win.

If Luck does not put his body on the line, the Colts are not good enough to win. Last year, in the Denver game, he ran for a first down and took a crushing hit, sandwiched in between two D-lineman. He missed the rest of the season, but the Colts won that game.

Yesterday, on 4th-and-1, he had an opportunity to run for the first down. He would've been sandwiched in between two D-linemen but could have gained the first. Instead, he elected to throw the ball to D. Allen. He protected himself and relied on his teammates. The ball placement was not good, but it was the right decision. If Luck doesn't put his body on the line, the Colts lose. This is unfair to Luck and unfair of the fans to ask this of him, game in and game out.

Given what we have seen in the past two years, anyone think his career will be shorter, maybe by 3-4 years?

We have a chance if we get our act together at the end of the season buy firing these two *s running the show because lets no beat around the bush they suck and bring in a coach and GM that will get this team to their peak every game of every season and we have to overhaul this whole roster to make it better.
