Dress Code For Robert Craft

Recommended Posts

Stadium officials should demand Craft not to wear those tired powder blue French cuff dress shirts he has been wearing since he bought the Patriots.

I hear ya and there are some pats fan up here that are tired of it too . . . but i think that the shirt is like a game day shirt, many times on non game days he is not wearing those type of shirts . . .

To the OP, do you REALLY want have Indy come off as looking petty? Yes insist a man in mourning over his wife not wear his game day shirt to the SB. **eye roll** Wish I had an epic fail pic for the OP. (and as people have said it is KRAFT nor Craft)

Kraft always sounds like that. Maybe he had a few during the game, I don't know, but I've heard him kind of slur his speech while stone sober.

I used to work in journalism and was covering an event in Boston way back around 1995. Kraft was there with Drew Bledsoe. The media crowd followed Drew around and I saw an opportunity to speak with Kraft one-on-one. I thanked him, as a fan, for buying the team and not moving it to St. Louis. He was a very nice guy, just kind of hung out and shot the breeze with me for about 10 minutes. He knew someone from my hometown who had a son about my age. Real nice guy.

A journalist!?!?!?! I always knew there was something wrong with you :). I'm guessing the reason you "used to" work in journalism is because it's tough to be a journalist and conservative on the east coast.

And also, cool story.

haha, that was part of it... the other part was that I realized, hopefully without sounding too superficial about it, that my $20K/year earning potential in that field wasn't going to support my lifestyle for long. Climbing gear is expensive! ;)

I had never even noticed that Robert Kraft always wore the same type of shirt. But, I did an image search and sure enough, the OP was right.

I'm rather disappointed with myself because I am usually much more aware of things like that.

However, I really don't care what type of shirt Robert Kraft wears. I am more interested in what Bill Belichick wears. My hopes were that he would wear that red hoodie.

But drats, the man must have been reading my mind:

    • Anybody know the name of the song at the end? diggin the drum riffs
    • He's definitely not a top 5 cornerback at all..   Alexander, Ramsey, White, Howard, Humphrey, and tons of others have been way better than him this year
    • Right. Reich talked about it in the offseason...that explosive plays were a missing ingredient. Whether he practiced what he preached is a different story (and of course there’s context that goes into that...like who their QB was). I am just saying that he has indicated that he wants to be more than a methodical clock control offense. And I think Reich will look to do that...when they have the QB in place.   DVOA definitely has the Colts defense rated ahead of the offense. The Colts  overall defense was #7 and the overall offense was #12. More specific to passing, the Colts passing offense was #16 and the Colts passing defense was #8.   The defensive ratings are likely skewed by the first half of the season...but the offense had the easiest schedule of any team...and still managed to be middle of the pack in passing offense (according to DVOA).    Yes there’s room for improvement on defense...but it’s tough to expect better than a top 7 unit. An edge rusher will help with the pressure rates...but they have showed they can make big plays and create takeaways. I would say the defense is pretty damn close to being a viable SB winning defense (especially when teams like KC, GB and BUF are currently playing to go to the SB).   So the priority should be the passing offense. It’s the necessity to this team getting to the next level...which is a SB. Otherwise, they would have to buck a trend that only historically elite defenses have been able to do.   And to improve the offense...they need a franchise QB and additional weapons.
    • Well Frank said moving him to tackle would be discussed this off-season so the Colts are at least considering it.  Rather they do it or not remains to be seen.
    • Good blooper reel of Cole vs Louisiana with 10s left in 2Q where the BJ takes him out.  Good backpedaling and change of direction with enough speed to build up enough force to get knocked down.  May need some NFL strength conditioning to help shed blocks.
