Yikes. WR depth doe not appear to be a strongsuit this year...

Buffalo is also playing good D and putting hits on the receivers as soon as they try and make the catch. But there has been some bad drops too...no doubt.

Green hits with his shoulders a lot. That could get him hurt if he isnt careful..at Clemson he did the same thing.

He supposed to hit with his head?

Two of the last 3 drives have ended with drops in the hands of the WR. Dorsett got hit on the catch, but the last drive and the one before Dorsett's were definitely catchable.

Not much to like right now other than Green, McAfee, and the occasional play.

And Kerr and Parry

Second team D-line seems to be playing well. The secondary looks scary though.

Like I said there have been some bad drops as you mentioned, but some of them have been because of good physical D from Buffalo. They've been physical.

Josh Boyce has already broken more tackles tonight in one half of a game than Coby Fleener did in his entire time here.

Congratulations.

New guys up front, first year with Chad's system fully implemented, and a new D scheme with little to no gameplanning. First game against different competition. And it's against a stout D at that. I expect a number of mistakes and things not to look great.

Tolzien kind of seems like he sucks, lol...  I know it's just preseason but I just don't see him being a feasible backup at all.

But Tolzien looks as trash as he did in Green Bay. Don't get why we didn't keep Freeman.

Definitely not creating a highlight reel tonight on either side of the ball. I'm only a little disappointed because I was hoping to see something from a WR. But ehhh...Taking this game for what it's worth. Which is not a lot.

It's second team O line

Honestly I cannot tell the difference. He's been under just as much pressure with the 2s and he was with the 1s.

This is our backup QB?

Yeah that's what I was thinking he's horrible however the WRs aren't making his job easy also dropping passing.

Passing in this weather is hard. This game should be more about running and stopping the run

True, it's gonna take time for them all to come together. But with Good injured things get real concerning if it's serious.

We might finish this game with more injuries than points.

That's kind of been our MO for the last 5-8 years it seems.

    • It's 7:40am, but I'm gonna be VERY busy today, so, gotta get my pick in now   With the 158th pick in the 2020 NFL draft, the New York Jets select   Joshua Kelley, RB, UCLA   @Jared Cisneros with the Denver Broncos is up next
    • I don’t currently have this as a prediction, but I could see Ballard taking Jeremy Chinn in the 2nd.  If he’s already decided that Hooker’s injury past will preclude him from being reupped after his rookie contract, why not take a 6’3 safety who runs a 4.45 and flashed at the SB?  All the hallmarks of someone Ballard would like...

    • Interesting article from Peter King that includes a section on what some of the Colts employees are doing - how are they handling working virtually these days? He interviewed Ballard, Reich, and four others, and it's well written. Interesting stuff, enjoy!   "I’ve been so curious about how a team actually has been functioning in the nearly two weeks since all NFL facilities have been shuttered—longer for some teams—and so I reached out to find a team willing to share how the job is getting done, virtually, these days. The Colts agreed to share a few employees with me, and it’s clear they have been affected by the outside world." Link to the Colts section of his article
    • It’ll be interesting come draft time.  I view Justin Jefferson as in contention for WR2 - gone by 22 or 23 at the latest.  And Mims, I see him as being gone by the mid-20s, with a possibility of someone pulling the trigger in the teens.  But I hope you’re right - drafts like this give me hope that Mims could conceivably fall to us at 35 (my fondest hope).
