Possible 4Th Or 5Th Rounder For The Colts

Another Mt Union guy (...nodding to Pierre Garcon!). Alex Ferrara was mainly a safety but played all the defensive back positions during his days at Mt Union. True, he comes from a Division III school, but this guy can flat-out play. And not only can he run and hit, he also is a smart player. His GPA was 3.77 as a business major, and he was very involved in the community as well. He sounds like he fits the mold of a "Colts guy" and I think he could be a dark horse to break into our secondary rotation. Thoughts??

Seems like he has been able to stay fairly healthy throughout his career. I haven't seen any film on him though. He is a bit on the small side, at 190 lbs...especially to play safety in our scheme, where the safeties are constantly coming up to stop the run.

tuba, how much of the colts small school/undrafted free agent efforts in the past were polian? any idea?

the colts never played the free agent game but always seemed to have a more than average amount of small school gems as well as undrafted guys.

any idea how much that changes now?
