What's the story with Cash? I thought he was at least a 3rd round pick. I hope we get Marshall though.

There are several Safeties left that seemed like they would go higher, but Cash really has taken the cliff dive though

I'd like to see Cowser from Southern Utah....   OLB

Cajuste from Stanford.....    TE

Martin Koprich smallish RB from the midwest (small school) who the Colts had a visit with.

OR....

Jhurrell Pressley,  another smallish RB from New Mexico.

Those guys would interest me....     I'm sure there are others,   but off the top of my head,  they'd work....

Now is the time to draft David Perkins, that bend and speed is so ridiculous. Need an edge rusher!

I'm scared because the bears were at that pro day when we scouted Perkins. Hope they don't take him.

My late round WR-crush is on the board - Keyarris Garrett. We had him as one of our 30 visits.

Trevor Bates. We worked him out before the draft. We probably could have gotten him as a UFA but now we don't have to wonder.

In Bates they saw a more toned athlete than Maine fans saw in past years. He’s spent the past three months in Tampa, Florida, working out with coaches and 20 other draft hopefuls, gaining speed, losing a little weight (down to 244 from 250 on his 6-foot-2 frame) and working on the footwork necessary to play linebacker in the NFL.

The Colts’ scout kept him after the regular drills for a lengthy session aimed at showing Bates’ speed and agility. That was where Bates shined.

wth

I hate 7th Rounders...such throw away picks.  The draft is one round too long in my opinion.  Trevor Bates from Maine could have probably been signed after the draft as an undrafted free agent.

Other teams were interested. You never know where he'll decide to go. Now we'll have him signed for a while and he won't be able to go elsewhere. That's all that 7th rounders are.

Udfa get get to choose where they go. They can look at your roster and say I don't think I can make it or they may want to go to a regional team (maybe NE) to be closer to home or closer to his family home wherever that is. Now he is locked in and ours.

Did we stump the truck with him. No info or picture on him on NFL network. Lol

The closest thing to Trevor Bates that is scary I can think of is the Bates' motel. :)

Otherwise, I have no clue about his pass rush skills.

Who can play? I'm confused. I quoted you two times. First was, You Said "draft a pass rusher." I quipped "it's the 7th round." Just screwing with ya on that one.

Second, i was genuinely interested in what yoy knew about the LB. I am still curious about the pick. What do you know about him?

I admit I know little about him.  But I'm relieved to see you are happy about the pick since you have been following the pass rushers in this class pretty close.  Just watched some of his highlights and he came off as pretty impressive.  Hopefully, he has the goods to translate his skills to the next level.  Quite a step up for him in competition.

This looks a lot like the 2008 draft of Polian's, plenty of OL.

Hopefully it has better end results, outside Ryan Kelly.
