Pats add another WR to their mix- Nate Washington

 his recent statlines are actually sneakily productive -- not dominant or overly impressive, but productive.

Since his 1,000-yard season in 2011, Washington's managed to average 48 receptions and 742 yards per season in the past four years. In 14 games last season, he caught 47 passes for 658 yards and four touchdowns, averaging a healthy 14 yards per catch. And in his 11-year career, which began with the Steelers, Washington's racked up 458 receptions, 6,954 yards, and 44 touchdowns.

In New England, Washington brings some valuable depth to the table, something the Patriots certainly understand after losing multiple playmakers to injuries last season

This was a guy I thought the Colts might look at for a fourth WR. I think the Pats did well here.

Good signing for them.  They have lacked decent outside receivers for many years now, and Washington might be the best they've had in a while.  Still, he's nothing special, and our top three WRs will make him look like delta sierra this year...
