I'm warming up to Jackson as well. I think he could make a lot of plays opposite Vontae. (Eventually, all rookie CB's take their lumps). Jackson or Darren Lee is who I am thinking now. I see Billings is not in the first round of this draft?

Steelers met with Decker recently I think that's most likely where he ends up if he falls that far

I think Decker would fit here, but we don't seem to be doing much in FA this time around .

For me, I'd have it between Spence, Kelly, and Jackson III under when faced with those choices.  I think I'd be fairly indifferent between the three...

I love William Jackson. I think he's gonna be a star corner. But I think we have to go pass rusher with the situation we're putting ourselves in. If we'd be smart and sign Junior Galette then yeah William Jackson would be awesome.

I think you guys are pushing this "desperate need for a number 2 CB" thing too far. I mean I like Jackson too but #18 is way to high for him. That's a reach if I've ever seen him.

Not saying Jackson is him but, the last time a CB from Houston ran a good time and shot up draft boards, he got taken in the first and it didn't work out.

    • For me, this is one of the least surprising results.   Once Smith refused to be measured or weighed either at the Senior Bowl or his Oro Day, those red flags said he wanted to keep that info private for as long as possible.  He had to know it would get out sooner or later.   But within scouting circles, WR is known as the “Diva” position.  Think Keyshawn Johnson, Terrell Owens,  Chad Johnson, Odell Beckham and on and on.....
    • Only one more week of nonsense posts.    Then we get to listen to some more nonsense posts about Ballard's picks
    • Recently I read some analyst saying that within NFL circles, Cosmi is dropping, not rising.   They didn’t say how far, but they made it sound like R2 is far more likely than R1.   Whether it’s far down enough to be there at pick 54, I have no idea, but I’d guess no.   So maybe 30’s and 40’s...
    • I don't think we were debating that...but we can. I would put Leonard in the top 3...but definitely not the undisputed best.   Wagner is still in the NFL. And guys like Roquan Smith, Fred Warner and Devin White have emerged as legit competition...as all 3 were better last season (with Warner being the best in the NFL I think). And all of them are ILB/MLBs.    I don't think it's a foregone conclusion that Leonard will be the best LB going forward. Not like with Q and the G position.
    • Pats offense is still 80% Charlie Weis playbook, and 20% Josh McDaniels modifications/tweaks.  A QB like Mac Jones (a Charlie Weis favorite) is the type QB that fits the Patriots offense philosophy.    College/draft gurus here, is Jordan Love more like Mac Jones, or a QB that doesn't run through progressions and pulls it down and takes off running if receiver option 1 isn't open?  This will hint to me if the Pats would even be interested, or rather place efforts to land Jones?
