THIS! Right now all of the teams that have a lot of cap room are throwing a ton of money at the 1st wave of FAs. If we signed just about any of the FAs you guys complaining wanted at the contracts they got, you'd all be calling for Grigs' head because he overpaid. You overpay for the most talented players in FA and I'd rather get 2-4 good players than 1 really good one.

 

Just be patient. If we haven't made any moves in the next week or so to fill needs, I'd say THEN you should be mad, but we usually let the overpaying phase of FA go by before we do anything. It's the smart thing to do.
