Glad you guys got your tickets :)

Seriously though we should organise a few Colts Forum members drinks or something before the game. We can do all that a bit closer to the date but it would be cool to all meet up, especially with anyone making the trip across the pond too.

Certainly, though pub wise near the ground can be fun trying to get in, the beer stand is always rammed as well. I've normally walked up the road to this tiny corner shop and bought drinks there, but then I wasn't socialising.

I'll def get a topic started nearer the time and get an idea of who's going and would like to join in with a forum meet up.

Maybe Colts.com would be interested in a write up if we can get something arranged.

Pretty sure they'll all be there

I thought, and everyone said, that these nfl wembley games get soldout in a matter of minutes, so i was waiting at my comp half an hour before indivodual tickets went on sale today, just to be sure..

I was curious and went to check now (3 hours later) and it's stil not sold out.. Curious..

Was the "saleout in minutes" a hyperbole or is this year just diferent (less atracrive games or something)?

In my experience they don't ten to sell out very quickly. You just have to be quick if your picky where you want to sit.

I don't know about selling out in minutes, but obviously the more tickets you need the harder it gets to get consecutive seats so if you're buying for a group I'd jump on early just to be sure.

Besides I wanted to make sure I got good seats!

I picked up the three game season pass at Wembley this past season and there was no way I wasn't renewing with the Colts coming to town, I'm at the club level behind one of the end zones.

I'd definitely be up for a forum meet up although it might be better to either meet in a bar a little way away from the stadium before the game or make it a post game meetup.

Post game might not be a bad idea as getting back to the tube is an exercise in standing in line all the way back to the stadium.

There's something very intimidating about a police horse eyeballing you....

I'll give you a wave from the other side, I'll be the guy looking mildly frustrated at trying to explain the rules.. again... in between "he's a big boy isn't he" comments.

Hahaha! lmao

I know this feeling all too bloody well. I have to explain it to the same people during the superbowl, every, damned, year....

If I get lucky, Ill be over there by next July. Job opportunity.:goodluck:

Good luck with the job.  If you do get over here too late to get tickets keep an eye out for a couple of further sales after any spare tickets initially reserved for Jax season ticket holders and players families are returned to the pool of available tickets.

Not a huge fan of London NFL games but I am very happy for the Colts fans over there who will get to go watch them play for maybe their only time in their lives. I know it must be thrilling for you guys. Make noise on defense and let us from the states hear y'all screaming on our TVs!

    • Its hard to forecast how either will do.... my crystal ball broke when my wife threw it at me.......    EVERY one of the OTs that we might draft at 21 have some holes........   I do think that Jenkins could play RT, LG, RG with ease, at a pro bowl level, .....day one   I truly dont know about LT, but I think Jenkins MIGHT be a pro bowl player there as well.       I dont think Cosmi could play anything but LT    If you draft Cosmi, and he doesnt work out at LT, (A REAL possibility, just like anyone at 21) he becomes a backup   If you draft Jenkins, if he doesnt work out at LT, he will be a high level starter at another spot on the Colts line       If you look at the LT spot on run downs, Jenkins would be a clear edge over Cosmi.......   Cosmi seems to have better feet than Jenkins, but Jenkins kept up with some very fast, DEs that will be drafted from the right side.   His feet were good enough for these speed rushers. His biggest strength is getting his hands on the DE and shutting it down.   For example,    Ossai from Texas is a very good DE day 2 prospect......    Jenkins drove Ossai from the LOS to the bench.... not just sideline.... but to the bench   He also "rag dolled" the guy on a few plays   The strength in Jenkins hands and his ability to hand fight, mitigates some of the speed rushers ability. to get past him. He mirrors them, then locks them down with the legalized holding in the NFL   Lastly...... the attitude that Jenkins brings to line matches and helps drive the others     So...... I like both prospects, and would be happy with either, but Im shifting to wanting Jenkins over Cosmi at 21
    • Thx. its never soon enuff!
    • Ballard drafts for depth on a team level. This is the opposite of that. Plus he added two T’s in FA so not sure about drafting two of them.
    • Actually that’s a very reasonable take. I think it’s easier to project Cosmi to LT than it is Jenkins. Cosmi might be the Kolton Miller of this draft. Super toolsy guy that will struggle a bit, but eventually blossom into a pod LT.   The projection is harder for Jenkins but I still think he can do it. If we can turn Braden Smith into a RT, then we should be able to turn Jenkins into a LT. Jenkins also has tape of him absolutely owning Joseph Ossai who might also be a 1st round pick.
    • Cardinals drop 2 straight to the Brewers.  The NL Central is going to be a wild one this year.  Anyone can win the division and it's going to come down to who can stay healthiest and possibly who make a move or two at the trade deadline.   Looks like the Cubs, Cards, Brewers and Reds are just going to beat up on each other, so the team that can do well outside the division may be the one to win the Central.   I'm going to a baseball game tonight!!!  The Reds Alternate Site games are taking place here in Louisville, the AAA home of the Bats, who are the Reds AAA affiliate.  So, there are guys here not on the 26 man Reds roster, but there are some prospects playing and several of these players will end up on the Bats roster.   I'm not a Reds fan, per se, but since the Bats are here, I do get familiar with the Reds minor leaguers.   Regardless, it's the first baseball game I'll have attended since 2019 and it's going to be 70 degrees and sunny at game time this evening.  I'm really excited!!!
