My wife was saving up for these for me as a birthday gift (my b-day is in mid September) ever since they announced it. They were not cheap so I know what you mean, definitely wouldn't have been able to afford them otherwise.

I'd be ok with paying it, it's a once in a lifetime thing almost, but people I'm going with aren't as harcore NFL fans so don't want to pay for the club seats.. waiting nervously for Thursday...

You'll have to be quick on Thursday. Like bang on 10am. Good luck my friend! I hope you get them.

Hope you got a good camera.  I'd love to see pictures from a fan.  I have no idea how and where to load that stuff up to, but I'm sure Nadine can help out in that department.  If nothing else, you can upload to your profile I guess.

Anyhow, enjoy it, friend.

I was planning on taking a few pics so I'll upload them or link to a online gallery when I do.

I've got a GoPro so I'll probably take that and get some cool shots. I could just re-save the files as low res .jpgs and post them in a titled thread after the game?

My daughter just happens to be scheduled to be in London when the game is on.  she's going to try and get tickets if it's not too $$

The cheaper tickets go on sale on Thursday at 10am UK time. (I believe that is 5am eastern time in the US).

I think the cheapest tickets will be about £40, right up in the heavens, but Wembley is a good stadium and it would still be great. £40 currently equates to about $57 ish... By the time you pay for the postage and handling fees etc you are probably looking at about $65.

To Wembley? Yeah a few times, once for the Olympics to watch Mexico vs Senegal in 2012 and another time to see an England friendly.

It's a good stadium. Most seats will offer a good view of the field, even if you are a tad high up.

I'm glad you guys get to see the Colts, but personally, I hate that they're playing overseas.  I think this means I have to watch the game on the internet, right?  At least it's not a home game.

Sorry to be a downer in your happy thread, but I'm against expansion.  IMO, it's the NFL's version of the golden goose.

I actually kind of agree that a London based team is a bad idea for the NFL.... Imagine flying from San Fran or LA to London or vice-versa to play a single game, then fly all the way back to play at home or in Seattle?

For any of you that dont know, London to Denver is a 10 to 10 and a half hour flight.... San Fran and LA are at least another 2 - 2 and a half hours from Denver. So you're talking about a 13 hour flight... Long way.

English soccer teams are known to do this if they are playing an eastern Russian team in a european cup game, but this happens once or maybe maximum twice in a whole year.... Not potentially every other week during the season.

If I recall correctly, previous games played in the UK have been Nationally televised, but it's like 9 a.m. eastern

This will be my 3rd trip too, once for the aforementioned Jags/49ers and I also saw Preston in the play off final last year.

I like it very much as a stadium, as much as it got bad press it's a very impressive facility.

Bunch of engineers (except for my daughter), it's some kind of an annual European Microwave show or something.  Last year it was in Paris.  I do envy her the places she gets to go.  Her boss is so nice to her.  She's lucky for sure.

She was already excited to go to London because she spent a semester there when she was in college and loves the city.  Seeing things from the 'other side' now.  No mice infested flat for her this time

Congrats to all who'll be there to attend the game. Yes, please take some great pics of you guys if you can & upload. Nothing better than enjoying a Colts game with fans of our own ilk & seeing those pics on the forum.

Enjoy the game & yourselves, compadres! :)

Hilarious!  My buddies and I meet in Indy for a game every year.  We actually floated the idea of going to London.  Then my wife and kids said they'd be going too.  So, that's out.

At least I don't have to paint the house.

We've all been there my friend...

I wanted a new 50inch, 4000k TV whereas what we actually got was a new carpet in our hall way and I had to install more flooring in our attic.

3 Tickets secured, up in the gods but at least it's at the halfway line.

For anyone going that's not from London and coming from North of London I highly recommend parking near Stanmore Tube and getting there that way. Plenty of side streets within walking distance that are free to park on.

Glad you guys got your tickets :)

Seriously though we should organise a few Colts Forum members drinks or something before the game. We can do all that a bit closer to the date but it would be cool to all meet up, especially with anyone making the trip across the pond too.

    • Frank said Pittman might have been the best the best WR in the 2020 draft.  Whether he is or not, they view Pittman as a #1, so I think they will be perfectly content bringing TY back, if they can.   Then there's Campbell. My guess is they will give Campbell one more year before they make another big move at WR.
    • Don't forget we did sign a true FB last year as a FA and he was cut at the end.  I wouldn't be surprised if we do it again if one gets released.  Reich still might prefer a true FB on the roster especially if his short yardage guy, Brissett, doesn't come back.
    • But that is you're projection of Oke's level of play. This last year was just not good for him. Like I said, PFF isn't everything, but a sub 50 rating is not good anyway you look at it. They're off a bit here and there, but not not that far off.
    • Every single team in the league would be okay with that level of play.
    • All I brought here was a guess about how PFF values Godwin vs Leonard and Q in an attempt to answer a question about why Tampa bay was ranked so high in those graphs. Everything after that has been people trying to pin PFFs evaluation on my opinion and me repeatedly saying - this is not my opinion, this is how PFF likely values them.    That's PFF ...likely... again... not sure because I don't have their numbers, but knowing what they value and knowing that they themselves said Q is about as valuable as Calvin Ridley in their system, my guess would be that by their numbers Q and Leonard together are about as valuable or less valuable than Godwin.. I clearly said that just a few posts after my initial post and said it multiple times here  and here and here and here  and here , etc... pretty much in every single comment in this thread I made it clear that this is likely how PFF values them, not how I value them. In one of those I clearly stated this:      That was me, but it's clearly in the context of the argument about their value. It's pretty common way to illustrate how one values an asset/player - would you trade X for Y? And this should be especially obvious since DL and Q are not FAs and Godwin is. And again, I want to point out that this whole thing was me trying to defend myself from people attributing things to me that I never said or meant and I believe I did plenty enough to make it clear that this was PFF's value not mine, like I linked above in about half a dozen cases in this thread. Yet here we are...    No, you repeatedly have misrepresented my opinion in this thread, even after being corrected again and again and again(counted to about half a dozen times on the first page alone me saying, this is how PFF likely values them).  So how about this... post again what you think my opinion is and what your objections are. Hint... I quoted my summarized opinion above.    I will take the fault here and apologize. You didn't say he's a scrub. You said he has only one season above average. Shouldn't have said scrub... should have said "people here act like he's an average receiver", which he's not and it will become very obvious how NFL teams value him in about 2-3 weeks when FA starts.    I stand by this. People usually overvalue their own players and undervalue other teams' players. Nothing new here indeed. I think this thread is a good representation of this too. Just my opinion.  The problem is the SB is one game. In order to get there you need to go through a season and 3 playoff games. Godwin was pretty valuable to Tampa bay in their SB winning season, even if he dropped like... 4 passes in the SB itself.  Sure... I don't mind that... agree to disagree. I don't have a problem with you not liking Godwin as much as me or anyone else.  No, nobody is saying those players are not valuable or that there is no value to having good LBs or DL or OL... But again... you are talking about a single game with incredibly hobbled KC OL that gave up 55% pressure rate and where Mahomes was pressured in less than 2.5 seconds in about half his snaps.    IMO the biggest mismatch in this game was KC OL vs Tampa bay DL and a ton of it had to do with KC OL just being super short handed and being destroyed by Tampa bay's DL. This IMO was what decided that game more than anything else. But again.. .we are talking about a single game with a very very weird mismatch that's not likely to happen very often in a SB, simply because in order to get there teams should have some base level of OL play... It just happened that an already hobbled KC OL lost even more pieces between the previous game and the SB.  Agree with this. Never said otherwise. But I do think premier passcatchers and playmakers are very valuable.   OK, what do you want to discuss about the graphs?
