If we win where do we pick compared to if we lose?

probably 3 to 4 picks lower.  i'm rooting for a loss.

I think several teams could finish 7-9.  if we did we'd be first in line due to a weak schedule.

wait wait I stopped watching the game..but I come back to see that tanney is 8/8 and a td? The same practice squad tanney!? Sheesh is our defence really that atrocious

Well, we did lose both Davis and Toler (not that it REALLY matters).  This is par for any backup QB that

plays against us.  Don't be surprised.

    • Yep, you know my opinion on QB and your QB in particular. I think he's the precise type that makes you lose tons of time trying to chase after unreachable target because he's at the same time too good to be cheap and too bad to give you competitive advantage in the playoffs. He needs a ton of things to be right for him to play really well and he takes a lot of capspace that in time will make you lose some of the talent elsewhere that makes him and/or the team look better. This is part of what seems to be happening now. You lose some talent(Diggs, Lindval Joseph, Griffen, Waynes, etc.)... IMO you should be targeting on of the top 3 QBs in the draft.   This draft it seems is actually pretty good up top QB-wise... 3 very good prospects, some others might emerge too. The WR class is pretty good too. If you keep Cousins he will need more weapons than Theilen. LB class is good...
    • I'd be surprised with the committment to the run if we spent much capital on a WR for the 3rd year in a row.  But if they think there is a stud out there, who knows.  Campbell I don't think is" injury prone" necessarily, last weeks hit was just unfortuneate and broken foot is also usually and accident rather than injury proneness whatever that means.  Assuming he's 100% next year, I think they'd be pretty comfortable with the playmaking potential of PC.     I could totally see them pick up a stud TE though with some captal.  I like MAC too and hope he takes away the neccesity of a TE.   But Houston is old too and we probably are really going to need another edge guy.
