It makes no sense to run give up plays when you weigh risk and reward; they ahoukd have been playing to score. So instead of increasing the probability of scoring, they erased it, and increased the probability of the Broncos scoring by punting. Stupid call.

No kidding. About the only time he didn't hit it short and out of bounds is when he probably should have. But the average yards per kick got a boost.
