So going into the Dallas v Seattle game yesterday I was in the top 30 out of 52000+ players in a Fanduel tournament.

1st place prize was a spot in the 28 player Fanduel Championship in San Diego, with a minimum prize there being 20 grand for 28th place and 3 million for the 1st place winner.

Anyway....somebody wound up with 204 points and held on to win it.

Thanks to Lynch being kept out of the end zone and a solid but unspectacular performance from the Seahawks defense I wound up at 191.34 points and 15th place...good for a lousy ten bucks, not even enough for decent bottle o' scotch.

Beast Mode my @&&!!! LOL

I'm surprised 204 won it. There were some monster fantasy numbers yesterday. It does suck being close and just missing out. Keep trying

Yep....all of us near the top of that tournament had either Brees or Eli.

I had Brees, Gurley, Lynch, Diggs, Snead, Jeffrey, Watson, Tucker and Seattle's D.

With Cassel at QB for Dallas....Seattle's D seemed like a decent move and they played well, they just didn't ring me up enough sack points or any turnover points.

The team that won had the Texans D (20 pts).....so that was a little salt in the wound.

Oh well....I'm up $117 for the season so far and I like that they have alot of $1 and $2 games....but this one really had me pingin'.

Nice choices there on Brees & Gurley PAC56. As much as I prefer defense & was rooting for Eli & Big Blue yesterday, I must admit I was mesmerized by all the scoring plays thru the air yesterday. 7 TDs for Drew & 6 for Manning. No defense whatsoever on either team & I still enjoyed it. Drew has still got it!

I loved watching Cassel get sacked near the end of the game & witnessing the Seahawks beat Jerry Jones boys by 1 point. It was so awesome! Ha! Ha! You appear to have a good eye or 6th sense when placing your wagers my man. Not bad.

If Lynch "Is all about that action boss," I'd hate to see what an off night looks like. Not a pretty picture at all.

Yeah....the hardest part of this fantasy stuff is not letting one's rooting interests, for or against, creep in.

At the same time....it makes games I'd normally not care a lick about more interesting.

Good point. If I had to root for Dallas to win a game, I think I'd be physically ill.  :P

    • We can’t get through a Pittman appreciation post without turning it into a Pierce trashing.  For what it’s worth, Pierce’ rookie year output exceeded Reggie’s rookie year and nearly matched his second year output.  Most WR’s take time to develop in the NFL.  Gotta look at the good with Pierce and there have been some really good moments, including a couple grabs in the Ravens game.
    • I think Young will get it turned around when they stop having OL issues. With solid protection he will be okay.
    • This play right here catapulted my respect even more for MPJ.   MPJ's helmet came off from being stiffed arm in the face, while being double covered, knows he was going to take a huge hit, couldn't even see the ball.....still didn't drop it.            Pay the man.
