2 games on Monday night?

the season begins with 2 Monday Night games..basically an eats and west coast prime time game.

Is this a TV ratings thing for September?

I'm not a big fan of 4 teams starting the season with a short week, are you?

And its hard for me to watch two games Monday night.

I'd rather have two games on Thursday BEFORE the first Sunday. At least then 4 teams begin

the season with a mini-bye week.

Any thoughts?

Every year, to start the season there is two Monday night games. I think it's over the hype of the debut of the new season. 

 

I have no idea how far back the NFL has been doing this as of when it began, but it's been a long time as far as I can remember.

Short week for 4 teams instead of 2? Lots of complaining about Sunday Thursday...

Here's 2 teams unnecessarily (in my opinion) playing Monday-Sunday, isn't it?

They have 2 games on the first Monday every year dude. I wish they did it every Monday.

I'll end up seeing one.too.

Its fun to watch multiple games at the same time bt 2 single games.,..not so much..

...and I'd rather they had 2 game son opening night to give four teams nine days off before week 2
