PFF certainly liked him. Gave him a 6.8, with a positive run defense score every game. 12th among DT/NTs in the pre-season.

Haven't seen anything about him or been able to watch any of his film, but Seahaw fans seem to be upset that he's no longer in Seattle. Seems like a decent pickup by Grigson.

We really need to add a proven lineman to replace Jones. I don't feel great about Henry Anderson and Kerr as "Starters"

That's not the point. Look at how fast he exploded into the backfield and through the back. He looks nimble as a cat for a big boy, that's what separates the good DTs from the not so good.

If claimed off waivers, that means they have less than 4 years accrued and thus were not 'cut' to be an F.A.  But they may also have too many accrued seasons to be P.S. eligible.  Rules here-

I'm guessing Varga and Good are sent to the practice squad with these moves. I think we'll keep Price because of Greg Toler's injury and we keep Winston Guy as a special teamer.. but two of these 4 are going to be demoted.

So do I. They are rookies and they will struggle at times but I think these two will be good cogs on the d line going forward. Parry already seems better at getting penetration than Chapman ever was. And Henry has made some nice plays too.

If a waived player passes through waivers than the team that waived him gets the right of first refusal to sign said player to their PS. If they refuse to sign him then another team can sign him to their PS or active squad.

That's right.  The team gets the player and his current contract.  I remember now, thanks.  P.S. is made up of UFA's.  {Players that are not claimed off waivers}
