Detroit has little chance at NOLA

New Orleans 45, Detroit 28

Does that take into account the new playoff OT rules?

Ravens aren't going anywhere this year.

Forget about it.

They are a horrible team, their offense is mediocre at best.

They have no chance against the likes of Brees or Rogers or even against NE if it gets to that.

Ravens will not be able to keep up with a high scoring team.

Joe Flacco is not reliable.

Ravens D was well known for their defense over the years, but this year they looked plain terrible.

I think the Bengals defeat Houston, but get pounded by the Patriots. Steelers vs. Ravens to see who makes it to the AFC title game will be epic, but I say its Pitt vs. Pats to determine who goes to the big game, and I honestly can't say who will make it. As for the NFC, I predict Saints vs. Pack in the title game, and once again, I just can't say who will come out on top. Should be some great games...

Having said that, this is what I would like to happen:

Houston over Cincinatti

Pittsburgh over Denver

New York over Atlanta

New Orleans over Detroit

Pittsburgh over New England <- upset

Baltimore over Houston

Green Bay over New York

San Francisco over New Orleans

I believe in your exact prediction... just that the Saints win over the Ravens for me. One thing is for sure though, Green Bay and San Francisco are going DOWN, oh yeah! Can you say overrated!

IMO the best two teams in the NFL right now are GB and NO. The NFC Championship Game is going to be more of a Super Bowl than the actual Super Bowl. I think the AFC representative is going to be leaving Indy disappointed.

Just like 2006, that AFCCG was the SB. The SB itself IMO was boring.

I'm just gonna predict my Super Bowl champion. It's gonna be the San Francisco 49ers. They have one of the best coaches in the NFL and the most underrated QB in the NFL. They also have Frank Gore and their defense is pretty tough. I look for them to meet the Patriots in the SB. Final score will be SF 24, NE 21

I definately agree, the Pats have a horrible D, the Ravens pass O is way to inconsistant, Houstons D is degressing and there O is nothing w/o shaub and johnson, denver is just horrible, bengals have to young and inexperienced O, and the Steelers D is to old

Wildcard round:

Bengals @ Texans - I worry that the Texans may be too beat up, and don't like a team coming off a 3 game skid.

Steelers @ Broncos - Likewise with Houston, Denver is coming off a 3 game skid, and while the Steelers are a bit beat up at the moment, I think their playoff experience will help them through.

Falcons @ Giants - Not a big believer in Atlanta, and even less so on the road.

Lions @ Saints - Is there any reason to think the Lions have a chance on the road in New Orleans of all places? I know they say "Any given Sunday, but the game is on Saturday. :P

Divisional round:

Bengals @ Pats - The Pats defense still scares me, but I think they're good enough to keep the Bengals from matching them point for point.

Steelers @ Ravens - Despite a season sweep of the Steelers and taking the AFCN, I don't think the Ravens will finally slay the dragon that is the Steelers until they beat them in the playoffs when given a chance, or they outright win the Super Bowl. They will do so here.

Giants @ Packers - It's kind of funny. I told a friend at work awhile back that I thought the Giants would play the Packers twice this season, and go 1-1 in those games, but didn't say which they'd win or lose. A Giants win would not shock me in the least, but still, smart money is not on the side of picking against the Packers at home.

Saints @ 49ers - A Niners win would not shock me, as the Saints aren't as prolific on grass fields, and the Niners play smart ball and good defense. But I think the Saints O is good enough to beat any defense, and I'm not sure the Niners O can match them point for point.

Conference Championships:

Ravens @ Pats - I think the Ravens have the offense that can put points up on the Pats, and a defense that can give Brady fits. It happened 2 years ago, can it happen again? While I'll root for the Pats, I'm going to take a chance on the Ravens.

Saints @ Packers - The weather in Green Bay in late January is not as pleasant for an indoor team as it was in early September when these 2 teams met to open the season, or even as pleasant as it likely will be in San Francisco the week before. This is where the weather neutralizes the Saints offense a bit, and the Packers get the better of the Saints.

Super Bowl:

Ravens vs Packers - This could be an exciting game. The Ravens can score points on the bad Green Bay defense, especially in the comfortable confines of Lucas Oil Stadium, which surely will have the roof closed. I don't believe they can match that Green Bay offense point for point however

Packers win their 5th Super Bowl.
