I mentioned that Bernie was in his postprime. He had no success elsewhere in that period and those old Browns teams were stacked anyway. And Vinny really :-|

Vinny is cool man.  Yes, Bernie did not fare well after he left Cleveland

Yes agree with you 100%, to date BB is a better coach imo than Coach Caldwell.  And I would rather have BB than Caldwell.   It will be fun to see how Caldwell does in Detroit and he can write his own legacy good or bad.

It is too bad the Lions got hosed in the Dallas post-season game. Would have loved to see how they might have fared vs GB who they beat during the regular season.

Stafford fumbled twice on the final drive of the game. The previous drive, they had 4th and 1 from the Dallas 46, and chose to punt, and the punt went 10 yards. Dallas got the ball back on their own 41. That's prime "go for it" territory, and they missed the chance (speaks to Caldwell's overly conservative nature).

The PI call was controversial, and probably should have been a penalty of some kind, but the Lions didn't get hosed. They still had 8 minutes after that play to hold onto or increase their lead, and they blew every chance they had.

The refs admitted after the game it should have been penalty which would have given then a first down in Dallas territory and allowed them to extend their lead and put the game away. It was one of the worst non-calls in the post -season I have seen and completely changed the momentum of the game. But not surprising you would blame Caldwell's conservatism for the loss while noting how his QB fumbled twice and his kicker shanked a punt ...

And here is one where the writer ranked the top QBs in certain key stats and gave points for each place in the stats, he has Elway as #1 and Peyton #2.

Very interesting reads, Yehoodi.

Great ones make the top 5, no matter how you spin it.
