Andrew Luck top 100

Recommended Posts

So 30 - 21 was revealed and still no Andrew Luck mentioned (he was 30th last year).

We have to assume that he has of course made the list, so the question is, does he appear in the 20 - 11 section or is he ranked in the top 10 now?

Also, are any other Colts going to make it?

People who are more likely than not to be ahead of him:

Aaron Rodgers

J.J. Watt

Darrelle Revis

Rob Gronkowski

People who are probably ahead of him:

Tom Brady

Richard Sherman

Marshawn Lynch

People who may be ahead of him:

Peyton Manning

Dez Bryant

Luke Kuechly

Antonio Bryant

People who will probably be below him:

A.J. Green

Calvin Johnson

Adrian Peterson

Le'Veon Bell

Who else is going to be top twenty?

Adrian Peterson was at #62.

This is voted on by the players, not just by stats.  Sounds like many players believe Luck is the best QB in the game (DeMarcus Ware said Luck is hardest QB to play against, Andre Johnson said he came to Indy because he thought Luck is best QB in the game, etc. etc.).  I doubt he is placed ahead of Brady or Rogers, but he does have a legit shot at being in top 10.

Antonio Brown (I think that is what you meant with Antonio Bryant), Julio Jones, DeMaryius Thomas, Jordy Nelson probably all go in the top 20.  AJ Green already was selected as #37.  Andre Johnson is not on the list yet, while he had a down year last year (for him) he still had 85 catches and is a well respected WR in the NFL -- may be doubtful for him to be top 20, but he put up more receptions than many guys who made the list (including TY).

De'Marco Murray lead NFL in rushing by far last year, so I assume he makes it.

Eli Manning was 6th in passing yards last year and Stafford was 9th -- both of them threw for more yards and TDs than Wilson who came in at #22.  I don't think either is top 20, but if Rivers, Matt Ryan, and Flacco all made the list, I could see a case for Eli above any of them.

Other players notable who aren't on the list already:  Ja'Maal Charles, Patrick Peterson, Aqib Talib, Antonio Cromartie.

I don't know enough about OL on other teams, but I'm thinking the gaps we have might be filled by them.
