Russell Wilson missing first OTA to attend funeral

The funeral of Jimmy Graham's personal manager. No word on what personal relationship Wilson might have had with this person. This is entirely speculation on my part, but it seems like a safe harbor way to protest over his contract status without getting called out for it. I obviously could be missing important facts, or maybe there's something that's not being reported, but it seems interesting to me.

It's voluntary. IMO, there's nothing wrong with missing it, period, although he's obviously expected to be there. I'm wondering whether he actually has any relationship with the person who died.

I am sure someone will find fault as football is supposed to trump everything no matter what.

 

Good for Russell for realizing there is more to life than football.
