Draft Reminder-The Sky is not Falling

Recommended Posts

As we approach the 2015 Draft here is the key thing for everyone:

Everything Will Be Okay

A calm, cool, & collected demeanor over the next 3 days hmmm...So, does that mean I shouldn't invite Chicken Little over to watch the draft at my place at 7 tonight? Just messin' with ya PT.  :P

I don't understand this fascination with Marcus Peters.

Yes,  he's a very good cornerback....

But do you know he got kicked off his own team?

Do you know how hard that is to do when you're a great player?

Grigson says no red flag character guys in the first four rounds....   Peters is a HUGE Red Flag character guy.

I don't think he's coming to Indy.....

I'd be happy with Peters, but I tend to agree with NCF that his character question marks make it unlikely that he will be a Colt.

If available he'd be BPA I'm sure, but, unfortunately, I don't think Grigson will pull the trigger... especially if there are other fallers like Collins or Collins available as well.

I have a feeling that this is going to be a very weird draft

Petersen is like Chip in the sense that he wants to create a certain culture, before talent. From what I understand it was a shouting match with an assistant that did it. Kind of like Jameis had with Jimbo on several occasions.

The fascination is that he's a top half of the first talent and Indy didn't get many opportunities to get those guys.

My understanding is that it wasn't one incident.

The shouting with an assistant may have been the final straw,  but there was a long grocery list of problems.

I think all coaches want to create a certain culture.
