My thoughts:  Obviously he needs to be healthy before he goes full out.  He will be a special teams monster and can help in coverage on passing downs.  I like the signing.  Nice depth is back at Linebacker.

This is one of the more underrated coverage LBs out there. If we go against guys like Gronk, we can at least manage to get our hand close to the ball instead of trailing him and Irving helps there. Helps out with our LB coverage big time. The key however is being able to deploy nickel consistently by stopping the run with our front 7.

You don't have to pass a physical to be signed.

Hey, that's a nice picture of Nate giving up a TD in the Super Bowl. haha

What? It's not like the team was loaded at WR. They had Hilton and Reggie coming off an ACL in his mid 30s.

Yeh, so you were literally the only person in the world who thought we weren't stacked at WR going into that draft.

We signed Nicks to be a major part of the offense. Lavonn Brazill grew each year and had he not been a total tool he would have been more than competent as a 4th WR. Da'Rick Rogers flashed major potential. Griff Whalen had proven himsef competent too with an increased role down the stretch in 2013. Heck, Reggie started 2014 extremely well.

Donte Moncrief.

I think Moncrief is the one player fans of BPA can point to that Grigson took.   And I'm glad he did.

But I don't think Grigson has done much BPA drafting in his three years.

And I'll say something that likely won't be popular......   since the new rookie wage scale,  I'm not sure a lot of teams are drafting BPA all that much.....

These days I think it's something that GM's say to cover themselves....

Yeah teams don't draft by BPA. They also only have like 60 player on their "big boards." They have targets for each round.

Perhaps. I was so happy when we drafted him. He was my favorite prospect that year and I didn't think we would get him at all.
