He may be older, but he would very well be that run stuffing NT that we need. Always respected #75

Plus, he's from the U.

I think if we can just bring him in on a visit.. We should bring in Gore, Johnson, Chud and of course Pagano to the meeting. No way he leaves without signing.

What do you mean he finally gets it?   Stop-gaps in FA while building a solid core through the draft.  The only real exceptions were Cherilus and Landry.  The rest have either been signed on short term contracts, or longer term contracts that were structured in a way that they could be gotten out of easily if the players didn't perform up to expectations.

I think the one who is finally starting to get it is YOU! ;)

Agreed. The only real mistake we made was trading for zrichardson. But hey, it happens.

Colts have about $12 million in cap space remaining

The Colts will pay attention to see who is available on the free-agent market, but they're likely done with the heavy lifting when it comes to signing players. General manager Ryan Grigson will continue his methodical approach when it comes to signing players. The Colts hope the players they draft next month can contribute in some way next season and then be able to take on a more prominent role once some of their older players are done playing.

As far as defensive tackle goes, it turns out that the Colts are optimistic about Zach KerrMontori Hughes and Kelcy Quarles at that position. So that's why they didn't pursue Terrance Knighton, who signed with Washington on Thursday. Former New England defensive tackle Vince Wilfork is still without a team and you have to believe Frank Goreand Andre Johnson will try to recruit him to Indianapolis.

It might be best to hold off passing judgment on the Colts' defense so far until after free agency and the draft is over.
