Are we done with the OL?

I have to admit that while the line looks promising for next year, I am a little underwhelmed if we end up with just Herremans.

That's a good question. I wouldn't mind cutting Cherilus, then bringing Franklin in to move back to RT. If Cherilus cant regain his 2013 form, I'm worried about the right side as far as pass protection is concerned.

No way we don't replace Cherlius or sign a good back up T. I guess could be addressed in the draft and maybe you mean done with the line in free agency . At the very least we resign Rietz

Depends on what you do with Gosder. If the coaches think he won't return to form after the injuries, we'd be crazy not to pick up another tackle. Probably in the draft

I don't think so.  I think the coaching staff knows Cherilus isn't up to par.  He has an extensive injury history and a pretty high cap hit in the next few years.  Plus, our center position is far from solidified.  I don't think we're done

I would assume a high round pick going to the OL and maybe a mid round pick, possibly a FA too.

It wouldn't surprise me to see the FO resign Rietz and leave the line as is until the draft, but I'd like to see a FA acquisition and a pick spent.

Signing Wisniewski (and Rietz) and drafting an OT will provide an upgrade at C and add depth along the entire line...

Sure, there are a ton of holes to fill, especially on defense, but I think that most of us can agree that the least productive position group on either side of the ball last season was the OL when asked to run block... It was consistently ugly (yet again).

I mean, they gave T-Rich apologists sufficient ammo to argue into late November...

It doesn't have to be top ten, with a 1,500yd. rusher, but c'mon already.

Just for some general knowledge....Herremans has started at every position on the OL but center. So to say he is versatile would be a slight understatement.

In FA, yes, but not necessarily in the draft depending on how it falls .
