More grigson hate from the nfl fans

anything against the Patriots brings out 10x more Patriots defenders "THEY HATE US CUZ THEY AINT US" and barstool sports *s spinning things there way like the clowns in the investigation thread. most normal people don't care as much about it as Pats fans do despite the fact they won the Superbowl (or the Seahawks lost the superbowl)

I see some of them questioning why Grigson notified the NFL before the game, didn't Baltimore tell Indy about it, then Indy notified the NFL?

There were also reports that the Colts thought the Patriots used under inflated footballs during the regular season game. If so that may be why Grigson notified the officials be fore the game. Which would make me wonder why the NFL didn't take careful note of what the psi of the footballs was before the game.

Who cares? Don't we have enough negativity already? It's old news that Grigson called the NFL when he thought there was a problem with the footballs. It is his job to inform the NFL if he thought there was a problem.

I am just saying Harbaugh is adamant he didn't know so that leads to speculation where Grigson thought to inquire about it...

Or better yet ...'

Why didn't the NFL just confront the Pats and inform them that specific concerns have been raised  ?

Why not just tell them that "If you're breaking rules ...knock it off or suffer the consequences ."

( Just like what the NFL did to the Vikings when they were using sideline heaters to warm footballs during games )

Doesn't this seem to be what any normal operation would do ?

Squash controversy b4 it happens...NOT LOOK FOR TROUBLE ?

Conducting what appears to be a witch-hunt  ( or a justifiable sting - depending on your allegencies ) seems to be the LAST THING Roger Goodell's NFL brand needed to be doing near the conclusion of what can only be described as the worst NFL season in decades ( PR wise anyways )

Hopefully this whole fiasco ends with Goodells head on a spiget .

Because that's why Goodell is an incompetent commissioner at everything but building up the bottom line. Anyone in their right mind would hear the rumor and confront the Pats and tell them to knock it off rather than try to (poorly) catch them in the act.

They are mostly Patriot trolls. Don't let it get to you, man!

Not trolls. Biased Pats fans. They're behaving like any other fans from any other fanbase would behave if their team was accused of cheating. It's not like the rest of the NFL isn't making biased assumptions as to what really resulted in the deflation of the balls (including myself) because they don't like the Patriots due to their past success, egos, and cheating scandals. If the roles were reversed and the Colts were the ones being accused of cheating, the same exact result would happen with certain people. It's just that there are way too many bandwagon Pats fans in the world.

The improper use of the word 'troll' is really annoying. Just because an opinion that people don't agree with doesn't mean someone can just yell "OOH TROLL". It's another person's idea. If you don't like it, ignore it. Also, it's not just you, it's a ton of people.

Sorry dude. I have no comment to make to you after that pile of horse dung you spewed earlier in the day. You have a lot of nerve even responding to me. Don't bother yourself no more.

Actually, I wasn't mistaken in my use of the word troll. There is a lot of trolling, people looking for a reaction. If you can't see that you might want to take another look.

Seriously??

That would be like the cops calling and warning the the underground casino (or pick your criminal) and warning them before they did the raid.

If there were suspicions that the Pats were cheating and that it might have been an on going thing than they wanted to catch them in the act not just tip them off so they could lay low or change their tactics.

This "why didn't they call and warn the Pats" line coming from the Pats excuse machine is one of the more ridiculous.

Doesn't Grigson's admission contradict what Blandino said at the Super-Bowl? I thought he said the league hadn't been tipped off and this wasn't a "sting" operation - it just came up during the game and they investigated.

There's a thread about this in NFL General. http://forums.colts.com/topic/35912-patriots-investigation-merge/page-9

Closing.
