Very nice, your thoughts pretty much mirror my own initial thoughts on him. He just lacked explosion out of the break it seemed, which was odd because he looked great sometimes in YAC. I wouldn't be too upset with him at 44, but probably no sooner.

I think Rivers moved on from them when he moved to Florida. And he probably decided he was going to move on from them when the team decided to move on from SD. He didn't like that move at all.

I think the article could have went deeper on the differences between 2018 and 2019. Not only did he change coaches/scheme in 2019, he lost 9.5 starters on offense. In addition, his best weapon was a grad transfer WR that he'd never played with before.
In short, it was like he transferred to another school/team for his last season lol. I'm sure the teams looking at him know this. While you can't totally ignore 2019, his 2018 season is the true gauge of his talent and should be prioritized.
