The simulation part of it is cool. The contract management needs work; OTC's is far better, but used in tandem, you can get a better feel for how an offseason would actually go. I don't know how realistic some of the contracts are -- $19m/year for Demaryius Thomas? -- but it's sort if a reference. The day by day function of free agency reminds me of franchise mode on Madden.

Well, I wasn't sure how to put in the contracts, because I thought if I selected a $21 Mil contract with 5 years, then that 21mil would be spread over five years.

 

Nope.

 

I'm paying Rolando McClain 21mill a year for 5 years.
