NewColtsFan 8,256
https://yourlogicalfallacyis.com/appeal-to-authority I didnt need to go to practice to realize it doesnt get any worse than trent no i have blamed grigson too actually. actually there were plenty of better options besides trent the whole time, did u not watch the denver game? If you're trying to show off your genius football knowledge, you're failing miserably. And in public. You know people can actually read the posts you're making, right? Boom had a fumble problem. You'll notice in other games when Boomer fumbled, he got yanked out. That's been his problem all along. When he fumbled less, he played more. This is not rocket science. And you're not the smartest guy in the room. Oh, by the way..... you're handle is STILL "Fire Pagano".... so, you still look like a fool with an agenda. If you read the piece on how Grigson picked Pagano, (Building the Monster thread) you'd understand what Pagano means to the organization.

HtownColt 11
OK? A "kids game" with countless millions of dollars and careers at stake, where an entire city and millions of people are counting on you to do your job. A painfully rare, unique opportunity to secure yourself and your [future] family's financial freedom. I'm only missing a beat if an immediate family member may die.A family emergency is a family emergency, care less about a 60 minute game, the money, the people who only think about the player on Gamedays, family health is a much higher priority

crazycolt1 7,346
So what you're saying is a running back who has the second worst running stats in the history of the NFL is not one of the worst in history because he's good at other stuff? That's like saying a Wide Receiver who can't catch is still good because he's a great route runner.I do when only one stat is looked at. We can juggle stats at our will and make up anything we want to see. A WR very rarely runs the ball. A RB catches passes quite often so by omitting those stats it is over looking him as a player. I am not defending T Rich with this comment but I was defending not seeing the whole picture as far as him being the worst RB in history.

ponyboy 65
I'll challenge the idea that the Trent we have is the Trent the Browns had. He's not. He's not close to the same guy. And I'll post video of Trent as a Brown, and you'll see that Indy has never had THAT Trent Richardson. I don't know why, but we haven't. Here's the video of Trent in his rookie year: We never got that guy.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPePybIEkbM He's not as good as he was with the Browns but he's not that far off either. If you watch his other 260 rushes with the Browns (instead of just the 12 on the youtube highlight reel) you'll see a Trent that's similar to what you see with the Colts. One of the first things I did after the trade was to watch all 18 Browns games on NFL rewind. You can watch an entire game focusing on one player in about 15 minutes. Watching only the highlight reel is very deceiving.

All I was trying to see from the highlights was his skill level.... his feet, his ability to change direction and make people miss... his vision... his ability to see the hole, and get through it... what he showed on those high lights if FAR more than he ever showed with the Colts. To me it's almost night and day, and I'm not saying he was great with Cleveland, he clearly wasn't. But to me, he was much, much better with the Browns than he was with the Colts. The guy we got is not the guy he was with Cleveland.
corgi 34
Saw on twitter that Trent's mother passed away. Hopefully it's one of those times the internet is wrong. peytonmanning18 0
that would be a horrible trade. We might as well just cut richardson. We'd basically be trading a 6th for a 7th. One trade that could work out is trading T rich + 7th for a slightly higher 7th.That trade would be a steal for the Colts because they wouldn't have to pay him. With that being said, no team would ever consider that deal.

Modern 0
It would have been reported by now if a reputable source could be found. 5 minutes after it said Trent didn't make the flight because of personal issues some insane Colt fan was on twitter saying his mom had died. She started saying it yesterday to everyone who tweeted he wasn't gonna be there. I looked at her stuff and she wasn't anyone with any inside info, mostly she just went on crazy rants about the Colts being the greatest and attacking anyone who criticized any Colts player or staff. People are stupid and don't seek proof on anything written on the internet. Same *s on Facebook who have to Like the post about a month having 5 Fridays and it being some Chinese money bags, seems to happen ever couple months though. Or the people who have to Like the Jesus picture because it specifically warns them that ignoring it means Satan. People are nuts and will believe and follow what the computer screen says. They wouldn't keep putting up those " you just won a free iPod " adds if fools weren't eagerly clicking them.

indy1888 4
Was listening to 1070 and Joe Staysniak said he heard Trent was basically kicked out and was escorted out of the building. Also, Kravitz said last night on WTHR that he had heard the Colts considered cutting him mid season but did not due to the cap hit. Apparently the feeling in the building was that Trent was not "all in", and even had failed weight checks.

ColtStronger 1
Trent is not a bad player. He just doesn't fit our scheme. Our blocking scheme is better suited for smaller scat backs like Bradshaw and boom. Power backs need a line that powl defenders and that's not our line. It's funny that everyone here saw the Patriot game with a power OL and RB and know our OL but can't admit it's the OL's fault, not Trent. Obviously there is a big difference between the 2 teams. Bradshaw and Boom fit our scheme better, therefore perform better. Trent needs a powerful interior, which he never has on the Colts. Put Trent on the Pats, he would do the same thing as Blount to us. People don't get that though.

Modern 0
Trent will probably end up in a place like Baltimore where they will make him a star.Even if you believe he will have great success on another team, you can't really hold onto a player who isn't working for your team. If Trent goes somewhere else and sets the world on fire but can only produce 3 ypc for this team , then you gotta release him.
