Great catch. Terrible ruling.

The ball bounces. What's terrible about that?

Great block by Kyle J. If we had a fullback, he is who I would want. Good receiver and blocker, much better than Havili.

Ball was secure in his hands and the knee was down long before the ball was out as I saw it. Not mad though.

Got to complete the catch all he way to the ground. And he didn't. Because the ball bounced and assisted the catch.

I thought that would stand..

Especially against NE.  They got the call right though.

Patriots defensive line is so weak. No pressure whatsoever.

It's way too early to know how the whole game will go....

.....but I am enjoying the start.  :)

I can't believe how easily they're moving the ball.

no it is NOT a completion.  Please reread my posts.  If you can not follow I can not help you.   For the third time when the ball is dislodged it is NOT a completion unless the player makes a football move after two feet which DID NOT happen.

I read yours :). What i am saying is they should have blown the whistle for it before dislodging.

"The Patriots have the best secondary in the NFL"

Patriots fans actually thought this.

Doesn't matter, Belichick will make the perfect adjustments and that'll be the end of that for the Ravens.

    • I would also argue that Polian built this team around Manning.  He invested a lot of 1st round picks in the skill positions. I think a lot of qbs could have been successful in that offense.  Thst being said, Manning is one of the greats. Just imagine JB with all those weapons. Does he have limitation? Yes. However,  I think we would b looking at Brissett differently than we do now.
    • Look no further than the Titans. I believe that is the kind of team Reich  envisioned for the future.  The problem is that Tennessee got their 1st.
    • Uh, and the answer is... Curtis Painter.  And, SEVEN one & dones.
    • Maybe he did decide to retire at the end of last season, but consider this:  Would Ballard have been able to attract FAs with Brissett as his QB?  Maybe Ballard asked Luck to hold off on retirement so he could sign some good FAs first (Funchess, Houston, etc) under the guise that they would get to play with Luck.  Maybe Ballard, Reich, and Luck realized it might be best for the team if Luck waited until August to retire, even though he might have decided to do so last January.     And for what it's worth, Luck was going to give the money back, but Irsay insisted he keep it (just in case he decides to come back so the Colts still retain his rights).   You're free to assume the worst, but we don't know, and we probably never will.
    • I have similar thoughts on Love, but not sure what happened this year is something he's "learned". I think it was just a little unavoidable given all changes to the program, and a product of him being asked to do too much. Not sure if the bad would carry over to a better situation and better coaching.   I agree on Fromm. I'm still up in the air on Eason. Did he say anything about Herbert?
