    • They gave up 26 points in that game.  I think we will do fine against them
    • But talent and work ethic aren't the only two variables. There's also the rather big issue of whether Eason has the mental and physical skills at this point in his career to play the position. His college performance suggest he does not have these skills at this point and the Colts seem to agree with that. One hopes that with a good work ethic he will develop the necessary skills because he has talent, but that doesn't seem likely this season.
    • Found the NFL protocols. If a players tests positive, then-   Following a positive test, if the player is asymptomatic, he can return once: 10 days have passed since the initial positive test; OR Five days have passed since the initial positive test and the player receives two consecutive negative PCR virus tests at least 24 hours apart within that five-day period   Following a positive test, if the player demonstrates symptoms, he can return when: At least 10 days have passed since symptoms first appeared; AND At least 72 hours have passed since he last experienced symptoms   In either case, a player who tests positive must be cleared by his team's head physician before returning. Additionally, all players who have tested positive and recovered (or who have tested positive for antibodies) will undergo additional cardiac screening.     Except for those deemed in close contact with positive players. The NFL requires them-   Players put on the list because they tested negative but were determined to be in close contact with an infected person must follow the following return protocols:   Second negative test within 24 hours of initial negative test Increased symptom monitoring Eight days of daily virus testing Regular testing schedule thereafter
    • Our team was not very good in 2017 and last year we had a lot going on (aside from Luck retiring shortly before the season) in terms of injuries (TY, Funchess, Ebron all missed significant chunks of the season they were supposed to be JBs top 3  receiving threats), kicking woes cost us between 3-5 games, a lot of injuries on D, etc..  and JB still had us right in the playoff  hunt.         They are far from gone, actually.  And Rivers, himself started 2004 as a 3rd string QB behind Drew Brees and Doug Flutie.
