Nixon is a HORRIBLE OT

We need to put a TE on that side to help out.  This is a brutal performance by the right side of our line

So what/who is to blame for our starts and performance? If this was the first/second time that we've come out like this, I wouldn't say anything...but this is every other week.

What do they do all week? Have the Patriots ever come out like this? Has Rex Ryan's Jets ever come out like this?

The Jets stink, so you should not even bring them up and the Pats have the best coach in football. As for who is to blame for this, the players are, they are showing a tremendous lack of concentration.

Wow, spent 2000 bucks on this... I'll never be ashamed to wear my Colts jersey anywhere but this is pushing it. Great memory for my first trip to Dallas. Got the most amazing seats to look at this abomination

Poor starts every week is a sign of poor preparation.  That's a sign of poor coaching

Lack of discipline, again, is a sign of poor coaching.

Bye-bye Chuck.

I agree. But who's responsibility is it to coach em up?

Pep.  Like i stated.

Look, I can agree that I wish that we had a better post-season record, and could do better against upper tier teams,

but this was a complete overhaul 3 years ago on the D and O.  I'm still very happy that we're as good as we are, and

no, i don't think we're world beaters, but we're better than I thought we'd be.  If we can get to the 2nd level in the

playoffs again i'd be happy with that.  Next year i'd want the conf championship, though.

Jets are awful, but they don't lose games in the first quarter (like we have against Denver, New England, and Dallas).

One or two players with lack of concentration, sure. The whole team? That's coaching, and preparation. Just so I know where you're at, as a fellow colts fan, how much % blame do you put on the coaching for this?

This is just all a bad dream. I can't believe I'm watching such a bad, disgraceful game. So sad, my daughter takes her Luck jersey off and goes outside to play with the dogs.

Why are reporters so terrible at their jobs?  "Ben, how does it feel to make it to the playoffs?"....how do you think it feels?

Man this is painful. Can you imagine if we had not had the strength of schedule tie breaker with Rams in 2011 ?

I really love the Colts but really have 0 confidence on the team, it wouldn't surprise me whoever comes into LOS steamrolls the Colts. I've tried to keep my hopes up but barring an unbelievable comeback the Colts are what we see..

When comparing where we were, yeah, we're pretty awesome. But is that a reason to get complacent? We completely overhauled the team 3 years ago, but we're here now. The reality is, we're constantly out schemed and out coached. Want to keep Pagano, fine, but if he doesn't get help from his OC and DC, we're never going to go anywhere

    • I'm not sure it matters though... Mahomes is like... 6'2" ... it really doesn't matter unless you can see it on tape. For example, you can see it with Wilson who sometimes misses throws in the middle of the field on some of his drop backs because of his height, but he has other ways to compensate for it(moving and creating himself other throwing windows).
    • I hope that Hunter Henry (or Austin Hooper) hits FA. Henry is a perfect fit...and would compliment Doyle nicely. If that doesn't happen...then I agree that that they should be looking to the draft for a TE.   It's interesting that Ballard...who came from a team that drafted and developed a 3rd round TE that changed the team's entire offense...has yet to draft a TE out of 29 picks (20 of which occurred in rounds 2-5). Granted Ballard wasn't actually with the team when they scouted and drafted Kelce...but he saw firsthand the impact that he had.   I really thought that drafting a TE would be one of his first moves...and Kittle always just struck me as a guy he would go after...but then he didn't.   IF the Colts can't get one of the top FAs...I think we just might see Ballard pull the trigger on TE prospects the next couple of drafts to build up the group.
    • I do expect Ballard to sign a few more FAs this year as we do need more senior leadership in the locker room. With Lucks' retirement he is forced to make a detour. Luck wasn't a real vocal leader but did his talking on the field with his actions. Might add it is very hard to be a vocal leader in the locker room if you can't back it up by your play on the field. That is why a crafty old veteran QB might not be bad for the team if he can still back it up with his play on the field. I believe that Ebron became a cancer in the locker room this year. Hearing how he walked around the dressing room with his Ebron is the greatest tee shirts and his braggadocios attitude just didn't seem to fit Ballard's locker room.
    • Those are all valid points.  And it's one reason why I'm not 100% certain that Gordon is the best fit for the Colts.   But then I look at Nick Foles in the SB with the eagles and the Read/Pass option.  If that is the type of O that Reich/Siranni want to run, I see Gordon being able to do that extremely well in the NFL.
    • Yeah, but there is a big difference between 6.4 3/8s and 6.2 5/8s if the 6.3 was accurate.  That's why I was comparing the listed height of 6.4 to the 6.3 tweet.
