Both his yards and TDs were career highs. And we’re still a run-heavy offense. The Texans keyed on run defense (which is their forte) to make JB beat them through the air, which he did.
It’s probably not going to become the norm. But it’s damn good to know that he can have that kind of passing performance in those cases where it’s necessary.
But let’s also not forget that Houston’s secondary was depleted...which probably goes a long way towards explaining why our receivers were so open yesterday.
