My joy of going to games has diminished over the years. Back in 2005, we had three of us at work go in for four season seats. Had a schedule where each of us got a game with all four seats, some with three, some with two, etc. Worked out pretty well! Anymore, it's an all-day pain in the butt to get downtown, find a place to park, get to the stadium, sit in narrow seats (I'm no longer a small guy, but I guess it's better than the benches in the hoosier dome), overpay for food and drink, and negotiate traffic to get home. I did attend one game this year. Lucky it was a win! However, usually you'll find me at B-Dub's at 116th and Olio for the games!
It’s a full day event and commitment. By the time you are home, the energy has sucked the life out of you, and you have to get things together for Monday morning. We drive 4 hours every game day round trip and it’s a lot.
Chad Kelly is akin to starting a rookie with upside, Brissett has proven he's not the guy. If we draft Love/Herbert, then yes, I want them starting over Kelly. However, if we draft a Fromm/Eason/Gordon type, and they need to develop a year, then I'm starting Kelly over Brissett this year. No sense in throwing away a year while your drafted QB is on the bench. If Kelly fails, at least we know and there was a chance. If he succeeds, we have our franchise QB potentially.
I have not watched the Cards Game , although I seen highlights of KK [ Kim ] pitching nasty slider both corners great control. On another note Brett Cecil looked good as well. I don't think the Cards will be hurting for pitching.
