QBs on the hot seat

RG3 just got benched again in favor of Colt McCoy. I think RG3 is locked in for a few years either way but I could be wrong.

The purpose of them starting McCoy and Cousins, isnt to show that they're the future, but to show that RGIII isn't. Not in this offense.

I feel like Geno Smith is an obvious answer but might as well say him. He's actually worse than Sanchez. And it's not a small margin either. I mean Geno is possibly a bottom 10 QB if you ranked all the starters 2nd string backups. It's very obvious why he didn't go in the 2nd round, and probably would've dropped to the 3rd if the Jets hadn't taken him.

E.J. Manuel- When you get benched for a guy that has been on 2 different teams and considered retiring, and then your team starts to make a playoff push, there is reason to be concerned. Clearly taken way too high. Maybe he can be polished but I don't think the Bills will wait forever with him.

Probably about half the quarterbacks in the league are on the hot seat every year or soon will be. There are rarely more than about fifteen or so quarterbacks who are legitimate NFL starting quarterbacks and of those only a handful are championship caliber QBs. Finding a legit franchise quarterback is one of the toughest things in sports and Colts fans have been very fortunate to be able to go from Manning to Luck. Outside of Montana/Young and Favre/Rodgers its virtually unheard for a a team to go from one franchise quarterback to another and some teams have gone for decades without ever having one.

This...yet at the same time every quarterback is safe. They always land on their feet somewhere else no matter how many times they blow it.

Every QB is safe as long as they get their stats....

QB's who won't be leaving anytime soon (but should/I wish would)

1. Drew Brees (We need 2 more pick 6's to pass Marino on the all time charts, YAY STATS!!!! Saints do not know how to score a touchdown in the red zone anymore)

2. Jay Cutler (Jeff George BETA Edition 2.0 will be in Chicago forever)

3. Matthew Stafford (Let's be real here, the Lions offense sucks. They have went back to back games with no TD, and 3 games total with 7 or 6 points, Stafford is not all that good, people need to stop acting like their offense is all that. Calvin Johnson or not, they don't put up points that often.)

4. Matt Ryan (See above, everyone goes nuts over him when he barely beats a god awful team)

5. Colin Kaepernick (Rodney Peete Jr)

QB's who everyone will jump off the band wagon when they have a bad game

1. Tom Brady (Everyone magically forgot about this a few months back when that Chiefs game happened and people were praising his backup over him.)

2. Tony Romo (He always gets the blame for every single thing that ever goes wrong with his team)

3. Phillip Rivers (Why San Diego why? Why you get my hopes up every year and then stink it all up?)

4. Drew Brees (See above - note to Saints fans who live in denial, stats are meaningless when you can't win at the end of the day, so don't tell me how many yards he throws for when we lose, lose, and lose close games)

5. Joe Flacco (Not a bad QB all around but when he has bad games, it's all we ever hear about, I like picking on him too, but compared to my guy, I'd rather have the coach that runs Justin Forsett like he's supposed to)

Who are you and what have you done with Bogie?

I got into it with a dude on Facebook because he said that the Seahawks playoff game was basically a win because Drew Brees set a record for yards vs Wilson's 130 yards or whatever it was.
