Angerer And Powers Leave Game Early

Angerer seemed to have injured his knee.

Powers hyperextended his knee.

Now I can't tell you much about Angerer's injury, because I didn't actually see him leave the field, but I can tell you about Powers'. I'm 90% sure he hyperextended it. Now he was able to walk on his own off the field and into the locker room, but a hyperextension kills and in some serious cases takes you out of action for several weeks maybe a month and a half. I think it may be better and he should play next week, but don't be surprised if he's not practicing on Wednesday, and maybe Thursday.

It is late in the season, and guys are pretty banged up. Its going to be difficult to keep everyone healthy between now and the end of the season, but if we hope to avoid 0-16 we are really going to need every player possible to be suited up and ready to go. I hope that neither of these guys are hurt seriously.

Hated hearing that Angerer was hurt. He's had a great season.

Powers is our best cover corner, so this hurts too. We're definitely thin at CB.

If both those guys are out next weekend, OUCH!!! Ravens offense will look like the Packers or Saints against this already banged up Colts defense.
