It seems to me no matter what move the Colts make, Start this one...Sit that one... Go out and get this guy.... Blah blah blah. Unless the Colts make every ill advised move conceivable, some seem to say that they are tanking. Well today they get some of what they want. What will they say after the Colts almost surely loose. Will sitting Painter and firing the defensive coordinater just be construed as an effort to tank?

My sentments exactly. The Colts ills go way beyond those two PR moves.

any move, start this year to get ready for next year. Not sure if the head coach is the issue, he doesnt call the plays, but he needs to start kicking his fellow coaches up the butt

I will say that if the Caldwell knew how to evaluate talent, he would have started Painter from the get go. We could have beaten the Steelers.

The effort is there. They are still fighting even down 31-10 here. Too bad Orlovsky just got picked.... might have made it a two score game.

Anyone who thinks the players aren't trying is obviously not watching the games.

The players are trying .... The Coaches appear not to be. Hard to win any games in that mode. They are tanking. There is no excuse but pure apathy.

of course they are trying, offense not the problem today... although the score would be closer, the defense was letting long drives and tds very easy. Its not rocket science, just cover your man, i hate the idea of 'cover', qbs these days are too good for that, easyer to cover the man and his small area where he can receive the ball.
