I heard the Astros are the most heavily favored to win the WS in several years. I just don't get that with the pitching staff the Nats have.
I guess they'll have to play the games and we'll see what happens.
What are some possible teams? Last year, I wanted him to sign with an AFC team, like the Steelers. He would have been starting for them and probably winning more games. We (Vikings fans) hope the Bears don't sign him.
Teddy is a game manager but he wins. Wins is what matters. JMO
What the pats have is the best institutional memory in the NFL. The Patriots brain trust has been around for a very long time, especially Belichick, and has seen most of the possible play combinations. It can look like mind reading but what's really going on is that they see one play sequence and can figure out what a given coach is most likely to try next.
I do think the final years of the previous regime turned a lot of fans off...as did Luck's injury situation and eventual retirement. It's been trending this way for a while though...the secondary market for Colts tickets (mainly the cheaper seats) has been pretty weak for several years...even before Luck's injury. Those 600 level seats are just not in great demand.
Also, intradivisional games (HOU, TEN, JAC) never seem to be as packed as other games. Those are typically the games I go to each year because the tickets are cheaper and I can get really good ones.
I don't know if it's an NFL-wide issue...I went to the CLE/SEA game a couple weeks ago...and it was packed.
