Colts @ Steelers Game Day Thread

You've said not one positive thing since you've posted here. Yeah you must be a lot of fun to be around.

Well I'm flattered you've read all of my posts.

Absurd claim aside, I praised the entire team last week on a great overall team effort. I say positive things when there are positives to take.

51 points and counting? Sorry. I don't take much good away from that. Again if you want to settle for that be my guest.

Gonna go watch WWE Hell In a Cell and fall asleep. As always it was fun chatting with the good folks on the board.

Well hooray for your 1 every 2447.

And Luck and the receivers on a near weekly basis. And the special teams for continuing to play well. After years of being horrible outside our punters/kickers, they've come to play each and every week.

The team still has problems. If you want to ignore that and settle, go right ahead.

We're still atop our division and 3-0 in the AFC South.  We'll bounce back with a strong showing against the Giants next week on Monday night

Just crown roethlisberger, give him the damn game ball, glad we could piece together his season highlight reel in a single game...then next week they will go back to looking weak and uninspired. Wow, nothing more to say.

At this point that is the only thing that matters

Colts suffered their third loss of the 2014 NFL season with their 51-34 loss to the Steelers. Colts have a chance to win their six game before their bye week, as they should put this game behind them, and prepare for their next game on the road with Eli Manning, and the New York Giants. Colts have an extra day to prepare for them between games. Colts still lead the AFC South, though. Until next Monday Niight for ESPN's MNF, GO COLTS!!!!

After today, I'm a little nervous about how the New England game will go. Hope everyone is healthy for that one so we can prevent another game like this.

    • Are we, as Colts fans, overvaluing or undervaluing Jacoby Brissett?   It probably depends on how you look at our backup QB.  If you are looking at him compared to other backup QBs around the league, you are probably undervaluing him.  I could make the argument that he is the most valuable backup in the NFL.  And I think Ballard agrees.   However, if you're looking at Jacoby as trade-bait, you might be overvaluing him.  A team trading for Jacoby would want him to be their starter.  Granted, this article is written by David Carr for NFL.com, so take it with a grain of salt, but he has at least 10 other QBs ranked ahead of Brissett for other teams to consider drafting, signing as a FA, or trading for.   http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001018216/article/ten-quarterbacks-worth-pursuing-via-tradefree-agencynfl-draft   I expected to see Brissett on that list.  When I didn't, I wondered if I'm overvaluing our backup by viewing him through my blue-colored glasses...   And I think the draft-stock of the QB prospects will only increase leading up to the draft.  I just don't see a team offering Ballard enough to part ways with Jacoby at this point.
    • I'd like to see more games for a bigger sample data. Richardson's expertise is brute raw strength, which is also why he did so well in college -- his opposition was undersized. Now we're placing Trent in a development league and suddenly we're surprised he's doing well? I'm not biting yet. You put me into a game with a bunch of old ladies and I can make myself look strong, too.
    • Fort Wayne, Indiana.   1995 AFC Chamuonship game its Harbaugh is when I started to be a Colts fan.
    • Flowers as well as Dante Fowler Jr. should also be available.  I would be happy will Flowers and Robert Quinn when he is released.  Those two would be great additions.  I can see Quinn getting double digit sacks again moving back to DE.
