Idk,they don't call then the Hooks for nothing. Sometimes they hook you and you lose. Happened to me a few times. But ya I never knew any of that, even about his Draft. What a mistake the cowboys made.

This line from the article made me laugh: "Tim and Sally held firm: You've made a verbal commitment to Kent State, they told their son. You need to honor that."

 

No disrespect intended to the parents of Pat Mcafee, but until a person literally signs on the dotted line with their signature, you are not obligated to go anywhere. Verbal commitments are a joke. They mean absolutely nothing. Yes, a person's word matters, but in society today your signature is your legal bond not a perceived honor system. 

 

Penn State broke it's verbal bond to your son Sally & Tim are they dishonorable as an institution of higher learning? No, not really. Translation: Nothing is iron clad & concrete without a person's John Hancock on the dotted line. It's how the real world works.

It horrifies me to think that such a classy guy could be punting for the Dallas Cowboys. Talk about bone chilling nightmares man.   Jerry Jones loss is certainly INDY's treasure trove gain. Nice!

Pat couldn't exist in the sphere as Jerry Jones. Jerry wouldn't allow it. McAfee has a big personality and you know Jones doesn't allow anyone to detract from all the attention that is rightfully his.
