Recently I read some analyst saying that within NFL circles, Cosmi is dropping, not rising. They didn’t say how far, but they made it sound like R2 is far more likely than R1. Whether it’s far down enough to be there at pick 54, I have no idea, but I’d guess no. So maybe 30’s and 40’s... -
I don't think we were debating that...but we can. I would put Leonard in the top 3...but definitely not the undisputed best. Wagner is still in the NFL. And guys like Roquan Smith, Fred Warner and Devin White have emerged as legit competition...as all 3 were better last season (with Warner being the best in the NFL I think). And all of them are ILB/MLBs. I don't think it's a foregone conclusion that Leonard will be the best LB going forward. Not like with Q and the G position. -

Pats offense is still 80% Charlie Weis playbook, and 20% Josh McDaniels modifications/tweaks. A QB like Mac Jones (a Charlie Weis favorite) is the type QB that fits the Patriots offense philosophy. College/draft gurus here, is Jordan Love more like Mac Jones, or a QB that doesn't run through progressions and pulls it down and takes off running if receiver option 1 isn't open? This will hint to me if the Pats would even be interested, or rather place efforts to land Jones? -
Blitzer comes in to light up the QB....Edge would stone em. -
