Jameis Winston Suspension Increased

Florida State has increased Winston's suspension to a full game vs Clemson instead of just the first half.

That just makes it easier for Marcus Mariota to win the Heisman.

Better penalty would have been kicked OFF the team and black balled from football for life!

 

 

Winston was accused of raping an FSU student in December 2012, although the allegation did not become public knowledge until November 2013.   Georgia Cappleman, the chief assistant state attorney who helped operate the sexual-assault investigation, told The New York Times this past April that "I believe that Mr. Winston cannot be convicted. I don't necessarily believe that he's innocent."

Police were called on Winston in July 2012 for allegedly stealing soda at a Tallahassee Burger King.  Winston was never interviewed about the incident because the restaurant declined to prosecute, according to the report.

Winston and teammate Chris Casher were detained by campus police for carrying a pellet gun near campus.  Later that week, Winston and Casher were investigated for causing $4,200 in damage at their apartment complex caused by a BB-gun fight hours after they were stopped on campus.

Winston was cited for shoplifting seafood at a Tallahassee grocery store in April and was suspended from the baseball team for a week while he completed community service. It was not deemed a criminal offense.  

In September of 2014 Winston was suspended for one half of a game (later changed to an entire game) for standing on a table in the campuses union hall and shouting out obscenities.

 

 

These are all issues which the university / team attempted to keep hush hush, but failed - one can only wonder how many issues exist which they have been able to keep quiet?  

 

The kid WILL be in trouble again - just a matter of time!     IMO the kid should NOT be given a free ticket to being a millionaire - at this point the lesson should be welcome to good burger home of the good burger!

At this point Winston is no competition for Mariota to be the first QB off the board. 

 

If you take Winston over Mariota, then you are stupid with all his issues.

 

Might even fall out of the first round cause of this.
