Woops, if you look at the rankings, I believe he's more a late 3rd, early 4th round pick.

 

I made the Mock Draft before the cornerback/safety rankings. I was high on Purifoy, and then I watched tape on him (and ouch).

An impressive piece of work.   Congrats, I hope this is a big success for you.

 

I've only had a chance to scroll down through about half of it.

 

I'm assuming that Purifoy at 42 is a typo?     Because in your section about cornerbacks,  you have him listed at 12th with a 4th round grade.    So, seeing him at 42,  high in the 2nd round,  didn't add up for me.

 

Typo?     Did you mean someone else?

Yeah, if you see my Mock Draft today or tomorrow, he won't be there.

 

As I told Dustin, I made the mock draft before the CB/S rankings, so some people are out of place.

 

Wish I caught this a bit earlier, but whatever, the rankings are the lifeblood of this guide.

Did a 10 minute skim through of this, and I gotta hand it to you, very well done.  I agree with a lot of what you said in the rankings and how you ranked them. So much so, that I'll print this out while I watch the draft and mark guys off that have been picked follow the draft with it.  And really, I'm not just saying that, I'm dead serious.  If I took the time to rank positions and come up with my own board, I'd imagine it'd be close to this.  There's some guys that I disagree with you on, but it's mostly some of the later round stuff - and who can predict that?  It's hard enough to do the first 2 or 3 rounds, it gets all over the place after that.

 

PS.  High five for the Terrence Brooks to Colts in the mock.

Great job, Andy. I read up to page 38. The remaining pages were missing but it may be a problem on my end.

You have the first 3 Vikings selections rated in the top 45 (Bridgewater, Barr, Crichton). It seems the Vikes drafted well, but I don't get the last selection (McKinnon), given that we could have used Yankey or Desir. We probably could have picked McKinnon with one of our two 5th Round picks. I read somewhere that he had the best combine numbers of any player. Did you read that too? I put more value on how someone plays in game action, rather than at a pro day or combine. That is why I like Bridgewater and you had him as the highest rated QB.
