Don't sleep On the Colts!

Recommended Posts

The whole AFC is tired of Peyton and Brady, time has come to seize those bulls by the horns and slay them. Colts will be there right, front and center to be the one who does that.

Luck beats Peyton in divisional round and then Brady/someone else at home in the AFCCG. Just a little good health like we had with Bob Sanders in 2006, and we can make our own run with a little luck. Championships are not handed to teams on paper. We do have the talent to go toe-to-toe, IMO.

You could be right about the Brady vs Peyton NFL fatigue. No disrespect to either HOF QB, but I'm ready for a Luck vs Rivers matchup for a trip to the SB myself. Yes, INDY can bleed with the big boy elite squads because if Bradshaw, Ballard, & TR are clicking on all cylinders I don't see any other team stopping us.

Jets

One solid QB & CB away from being a contender in their division. Rex Ryan has that defense on cloud 9 after the performance this season. If Geno played better, Jets could've easily been in the playoffs. They've made some good signings thus far & if they land Chris Johnson, they're going toe to toe with the Pats for the division title

I think Geno will do alot better with Vick to help him and I think he will win the job. The jets HAVE to draft a WR with their 1st tho he needs some help

Oh no.....it will end eventually and sooner then later for one or both. Maybe one has good fortune.....but neither has won a Super Bowl for quite a while so it's time to wake up and smell the dark horses. And no I am not talking about Houston either.

Manning is closer to 40 now then 35. And Brady if Gronk is not on the field will lose his potency on offense. And Blount (who killed us) is gone now.

I'd agree with you Jules if NE had not gotten WR Julian Edelman back, but I'd make the argument that Julian is Brady's security blanket now not Gronk. Blount departing for the Steelers did make me happy. I can't lie.

As much as I love Manning, I worry how well 18 is gonna be able to get that fowl SB bitter after taste beat down out of his mouth. The Broncos will be 11-5 or 12-4 like always, but winning a SB appears to be their #1 form of kryptonite. Facts are facts & MVP Awards mean absolutely nothing to me now.

If I am wrong I am wrong, I don't care. But, my bold offseason AFC prediction is that NEITHER the Broncos or Patriots will reach the AFC title game next year.

:applause:

well the odds are generally with you. Repeats in the cap age are difficult.

However...one of them could make it.

take a guess ;-)

LOL if one of the two makes it we know right now it is more likely to be the Pats. That's why it is a very bold prediction to me.....ugh.

Our game vs. the Pats next year is crucial. I don't like the Colts chances as much at the moment in NE. At home is a huge huge test for us vs. you all. :)

Brady/Manning AFC title games have only happened I think 3 times ever between them. The odds for a repeat of them doing it again don't seem high to me.

    • IF MN doesn't pick till tomorrow.....   With 111, the Chargers will select   iOL/C Quinn Meinerz   or OG Kendrick Green, if Meinerez is gone.
    • With the 109th pick,    Chargers select LB Justin Hilliard from OSU.   Surprised he wasn't up higher on the big board. PFF has him as a late 2nd.     Minnesota Vikings and @coltsfanmurf are on the clock.
